For the last few months we have been driving around town with a sign on our car with PERRY and a circle/slash through it. When we purchased the car we were promised a generous return policy. Beware! They will find any reason not to honor it, although they use it as a key selling point. You won't get a copy of this, they file it away in their own files. We found the car we purchased to have worn, dangerous tires as well as other work Perry wouldn't fix, nor would they honor the return promise. The manager's name is Jim Fox, (as in sly as a..) stay far, far away, this fellow is slick. When people ask about our Perry sign we are only too happy to explain in full. If only someone had warned us.

perry ford is the go too place for your automotive needs. not only is the sales and service a excellent choice. but they have some of smartest auto techs in the buisness. you wont find a better staff then this group!if you own a ford this is where it needs to be serviced hands down! i take all my cars there and i even own a chevy they still will work on it.. these are car people the best in the buisness give em a try you wont be dissapointed.........................

Since moving to Poway I always try to spend my dollar locally. Perry Ford has now helped me do that for the 5th time. I have been to every other dealer in Poway as well as many local San Diego dealers. None come close! All 5 times we have purchased through Perry in Poway we have shopped around. All 5 times we came back and purchased. At Perry in Poway they are friendly and straight forward. No "salesman" feel. Just meeting a new person and that person just happens to be selling you your new vehicle. Charles, their new manager, is so easy to work with. Cool and calm. NOT the hyped up, get it out the door type. As easy as the last 4 times have been this was by far the best.

The deal I got on my leased Escape was satisfactory (I probably should have shopped around some more, but i fell in love with a car they had on the lot)

PROS: Friendly responsive staff, extensive selection, good location
CONS: Nothing special about this dealership--they should do more for their client

Perry Ford went above and beyond "very good service". I called there 1800 customer service line. The customer service rep. was not only kind but she listened. i was just another number to her. they got got me in as soon as possible for my repairs, drove me 10 miles out of there way to go home while my vehicle was being repaired. only took one day... and manged to do there homework and found out that the repairs they did somehow falled under some warrenty... even though my warraenty was up 3 yrs ago... thanks perry ford

We bought our Explorer her a couple years ago, and we got a decent deal (although if we had shopped around more we probably could have done better)

Their service department is as confusing as it is confused- they seem to have no communication skills, not only with the customers but with each other. I took our car in for its first oil change and tire rotation, I had coupons for both from the dealership that we got when we bought the car. We told them we had the coupons, and showed them to them, they just said ok, and wrote up the work order. It took them about 3 hours before they were done- they wouldn't even shuttle us to a local store so we would have something to so while we waited. Then after the work was done, they tried to charge us for all the work, and when we gave them the coupons, they said they can take one or the other, not both. It did not say this on the coupons, and I had told them in advance I was going to use them.

A friend of mine owned a Ford bought new from Perry Ford. A few times I was asked to bring the vehicle into the dealership for service. Each time the repair took longer than the alloted time given and the price was always high.
Although I have a different make of vehicle, my dealership always takes care of me and my car comes out clean when presented to me. You get none of that at Perry Ford. Take your vehicle else where. I would if I owned a Ford!

While, I am sure that Perry Ford is doing something right since they opened a second location, I don't think I will go there again.

Two years ago, I took my minivan in for an oil change - they said it would be done in an hour, so I left. An hour-and-a-half later, I came back and noticed that my van was in the exact same spot as I had parked it - it hadn't been moved. So I asked them how long it would be until I could have it back - they said it was done. Confused, I went outside, opened the hood, and noticed that the filter was the same as before (not a Ford issued product). After arguing with them, I left.

Last year, one of my friends got a Focus from them (base model) - he was paying over 500 per month, for 5 years - what a rip. I went there to get a replacement part for my Mach 1 Focus, and a new F-150 caught my eye (did I mention I only like Fords). A salesman was on us before we had even got out of the car - of course, not working at a 5-star dealership, he had never seen my car. Within 15 minutes of talking to him about a truck I liked, I decided I was done with him. I started to leave, and he ran back outside, ready to drop about 8,000 off the price of the truck, below the discount I was already going to get. I couldn't understand why he was so desperate to sell the truck, and I almost did it just because it would have been so cheap, but I left instead. He had also said that they had fired all of the old staff that had worked there before, but I didn't believe him - as the guy who had originally lied to me about the oil change, walked past us.

If you have the option, don't go to this dealership - go to Escondido or Kearney Mesa.

PROS: They do sell Fords
CONS: I feel sorry for the people I see with "PERRY" on the back of their cars.
