Bellachs Leather Furniture Superstore

We placed a special order in September, 2007 and paid 50% down. The salesperson assured us that the item would be delivered by Christmas. We continually called in December, January, February, and finally paid a trip to the store to talk with the salesperson (Josh) in the Rocklin store. Each time we called, we were told a different story - the item was on a container in Oakland and would be delivered in 2 wks. After 2 weeks, the story was that the container was being held by the Homeland Security. Then, they switched the story to say the container was actually in Los Angeles. WE offered to drive down ourselves and go get it, or go to our credit card company and reverse the charge. That's when the salesperson (Josh) gave his personal word that he promised the item would be in within 2-3 weeks. Exactly 14 days later, we received the Bankruptcy filing.

The lesson learned is that whenever you are dealing with special orders, never place 50% down. The minimum should be the restocking fee. If you feel a retailer is not being honest and straightforward, contact the BBB. Also, make sure you use a credit card for the transaction, so you will be able to file a dispute/refund with your credit card company. Don't write a personal check, because stop payment can only be made within 10 days.

If you have dealt with Bellach's (or other disreputable salespeople) be sure to keep an eye on your personal data and credit files through daily alerts.

I placed a large order with Bellach's over six months ago. After months of being given the run around and conflicting stories, I finally cancelled my order. I was told that it would take them two weeks to process the refund. At the two week mark, I called and was then told that all refunds were on hold since they have filed for BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION. They offered that I could use my deposit to purchase something off the floor which I did not want in the first place!

I have read several bad reviews of Bellachs on other web sites, only too late. The service is deplorable, they do not deliver their goods in a timely fashion, they give mis-information at to estimated time of arrival, they do not return phone calls, and they do all of this with an arrogant attitude. What a headache and waste of time.

I needed some leather furniture for a special place in my house that was hard to buy for. A friend of mine told me about going into Bellachs in San Francisco and all the unusual styles and color choices they had.Since I live in Sacramento I went into the store into Rocklin , WOW what a cool store. They had a great selection, I spent about two days trying to get my colors and size right but in the end I love what I got. The salespeople were great, very helpful and the price I got I was surprised by, I expected to pay much more then I did. I will buy much more from this store, absolutely loved it.

I bought an italian leather sofa from Bellachs about three months ago. The salespeople were great they told me at the time since it was coming from overseas I should expect to wait about four months for it. Well I got it in three months. It is beautiful, I love it, the price was great and the short wait was worth getting what I wanted.

Bellachs has wonderful leather furniture! My folks bought these oh-so-comfortable deep green armchairs that none of their guests wish to leave. There are always fights over who gets them, since once you sink in, aaaaggghh! Petite women can curl up in them completely! I love my Natuzzi leather loveseat from Bellachs as well. My family has consistently trusted these folks to find the most comfortable, long-lasting leather furniture to make our homes more comfortable.
