I used to love Balboa Teriyaki for the sauce on their beef teriyaki. It used to be amazing. However, they changed owners and the food was never quite as good. The previous owner was really nice and friendly and I was sad to see her leave. The food is okay but considering the other options of Japanese food in SF, I would say pass and go somewhere else.
