Just had Sushi Deli 2 for lunch yesterday. It is the best sushi around and you definitely can't beat it for the price. The huge lunch crowd gathered outside is a little intimidating but there is such a fast turnover that it never takes too long. Their 4x4 sushi special is amazing and their salad dressing for their green salads is the best around. I would definitely recommend this for lunch or dinner if you're downtown.

You must eat at this place during happy hour! 1/2 price sake and beers, and hand rolls are super cheap. Typically there's a line of 15-25 people just waiting to get in. I must have eaten 8 hand rolls and a had a couple of beers last time I ate at this place all for under 15 bucks!

Im from Mexico City and one of the main reasons I go to San Diego is SUSHI DELI!!! The best sushi on the face of earth!!!! I love the SAPORO BEER!!! The food is great as well as the service, I absolutely recommend the place but just get there early if you dont want to wait long... Just the best place to eat after a long shopping day in Horton Plaza!!!! I cant wait to go to back! AWESOME!!!!

I really like this sushi place. It's fresh and creative. The service is always friendly. Get there early or you'll wait in line. The prices are decent and a bit higher than Sushi Deli One. But the location is great for downtown.

They have a many different kinds of rolls which all are okay. Sushi deli 1 has a longer wait and is older, but the food is better there and so is the service.

a good portion for the relatively low price you pay. it is also located in downtown san diego by horton plaza. you could park at horton for free with validation from longs.

The prices are awesome and it has a bright and friendly atmosphere. Bring all your friends because this is the place to go for great sushi and sashimi!

Cute sushi restaurant in downtown San Diego. Besides the long lines and waits, Sushi Deli offers a pretty good variety of Sushi favorites as well as some a la carte items. They're sesame chicken is quite delicious. Sashimi tastes very fresh. Although, I am a lover of tempura ice cream, theirs just doesn't do it for me.
