Beach N Diners

I will agree with the other reviewer - the food is not great. It is average. But, the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. It is a great place to bring kids - especially with the outdoor seating! The location in downtown Coronado is wonderful as well...definitely a beach type restaurant!

I'll be honest, I don't love the food here; the servings are a little too big, too greasy, too much dressing on the salads... you know what I mean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served - basic american diner-type food (with some California additions like fish tacos). However, the 50's ambiance is attractive and the desserts they serve up from the attached Mootime make it worth a second look. It is centrally located in "downtown" Coronado, and VERY popular with the summer beach crowd. What do I know? All those tourists can't be wrong.
