Very nostalgic, 50's atmosphere, a little pricy, large servings average food, good service. Unbelievably good milkshakes from Mootime (ice cream shop attached).

I will agree with the other reviewer - the food is not great. It is average. But, the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. It is a great place to bring kids - especially with the outdoor seating! The location in downtown Coronado is wonderful as well...definitely a beach type restaurant!

I'll be honest, I don't love the food here; the servings are a little too big, too greasy, too much dressing on the salads... you know what I mean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served - basic american diner-type food (with some California additions like fish tacos). However, the 50's ambiance is attractive and the desserts they serve up from the attached Mootime make it worth a second look. It is centrally located in "downtown" Coronado, and VERY popular with the summer beach crowd. What do I know? All those tourists can't be wrong.

Service is horrible. Food is pretty good but overpriced. Kept going back because of the good food, but stopped because we couldnt handle the very poor service.
