Taqueria Sanchez has a wide variety of Mexican dishes from tacos to shrimp cocktails. I have tried tacos, burritos, nachos, and shrimp cocktails. Shrimp cocktails didn't have much flavor but other dishes were great! Reasonable and cozy.

Small and a bit cramped, but very worth going. Prepare to take it out to eat and prepare for a lot of great flavor. This at a low price. Try a few to see what may be your favorite.

Truth be told, Taqueria Sanchez isn't going to win any design awards for their cramped tables and chairs and lousy line impeding salsa bar access. Nor is it going to be a popular dinner attraction anytime soon. You do get what you pay for. And, they're not open for dinner.

But if you want clean and healthier Mexican fare than the atrocious Tito's Tacos and their special plates of lard, then look no further than Taqueria Sanchez.

Here, for less than a few bucks, you can enjoy a couple of authentic double-tortilla soft tacos and a bottle of ice-cold water in a bright and clean sit-down environment.

Their sops are popular with our kids. As well as their burritos. And even one hardshell taco sitting on a bed of lettuce and chips makes for a nice light meal for less than $2.

Suffice it to say, for $5 per person, you'd have a very happy and sated crew. Definitely check out Taqueria Sanchez.

This place was great when I was a kid. I went back recently and it was just an average place. Nothing special at all. I would no longer recommend this place to anyone. It's just another taco stand.

Pros: At least it wasn't too bad

Cons: Nothing special. Hard to find Parking.

The best way to judge a taco spot is by how good its buche, lengua, or al pastor is and how good its salsa is. Taqueria Sanchez wins on almost all of these point. It has excellent buche and lengua but its al pastor is subpar. In fact most taco spots in Los Angeles have subpar al pastor so I won't hold that against them. And there salsas are some of the best I've ever had--I mean they have guacamole right there for you to serve yourelf, come on. So highly recommend this place.
