I am a parent of an 8 year old who has been in speech and occupational therapy since age 2. We've been to several highly regarded clinics in the area, with varying results. Some are great with language acquisition, some with social/pragmatic language, but until now, we have had absolutely NO luck with articulation. My daughter is making very quick improvements and most of all, feels successful and much more confident in her speech. I am very pleased that the therapists are all licensed - a big difference than some other clinics that use interns that rotate every 6 - 12 months, which is really hard on most kids (and parents). I'm sure that everyone has different experiences, but I am a very happy parent.

We sent our kid there for evaluation. They basically did nothing but B.S. for a whole hour. Their service is just helpless !!! All they really care is how to claim money from insurance. The worst service we have ever found on Earth

This is a fantastic clinic!! My daughter has been going there for nearly two years, originally for speech delay but now we are being seen for both speech / articulation and occupational therapy. The majority of therapists are wonderful with young children and blend play and therapy into all of their sessions to keep things fun.
The clinic provides services for speech, behavior and occupational therapy which gave them a unique ability to view each child as a whole. They recommended OT to improve her core strength and motor planning skills, OT has helped in both speech and general physical activities. The staff are also very helpful in getting families to navigate the other services available through the state and school districts.
Over the years my daughter has seen Dawn and Judy for speech and Joyce and Nicole for OT. All of these therapists are fantastic with young children and really keep the kids motivated while making sure that they are steadily improving. We had one personality conflict with a different OT but the clinic were very quick to address this and moved us to a more compatible therapist.
All in all, I can not say enough good things about PTS, I highly recommend it.

My son has been going for OT and ST for the last few months. The ST and OT make it so much fun and enjoyable for him.

He has improved tremendously in the ST and Sree and Christie have great methods of working with toddlers and following their cues.

I am also equally happy with the OT's Nicole and Aaron and my son is making great leaps and bounds..

Thanks PTS- you are a valuable resource

We've had two daughters go here. One was for speech therapy for her lisp and clearer speech, the other for occupational therapy (her hand hurt when holding a pencil). These folks are wonderful. The therapists were clear about goals and practice. Both our kids LOVED going there, and were sorry to leave after they were helped.

We took our 5 year old son with severe autism to the clinic for an OT/ST evaluation. The senior therapist there who gave us the evaluation was very disrespectful towards the parents. Maybe because she's the most senior staff there, she thinks that she knows everything -- But she's wrong. . . Nobody knows a specific child better than the child's own parents. If the therapist is not willing to listen to parents' input but rather more interested in educating parents about her own ways of dealing, then she's not very good therapist.

Also, the group advertised that they use Floortime throughout their therapy sessions. However, being a parent who spent a lot of time learning about Floortime from various resources, I can say that the way our therapists dealt with our son is definitely NOT Floortime or relationship-based. The therapists always want to take upper hand -- it is all about discipline and setting the boundaries. They don't follow the child's lead. They don't read the child's cues and model for the child.

I am a believer of Floortime. We've seen dramatic improvement in my son's social and language skills after we started Floortime at PACE (Pacific Autism Center for Education) in Sunnyvale. I would highly recommend PACE over Pediatric Therapy Services even though the therapists here are all licensed.
