There is no place in the world outside of Ireland where St. Patrick's Day is more fun! There is always a lot of laughter and good times at the bar where you can pull an ale or sip a margarita. But you shouldn't stop at the bar - the food is fresh and delightful. Their Irish Soda Bread is some of the best I have ever tasted.

Fiddlers Green in Millbrae is a nice place to bring your family and friends for a casual lunch or dinner. I come here all the time for the fish and chips or shepards pie. My friends like to choose from the specials - at night they have a prime rib special and a fresh seafood special that my friends love. They make their own Irish brown bread and soda bread. The staff are very friendly and most all of them have an Irish accent. This is a very authentic Irish restaurant, some nights while staying longer after dinner, I enjoy an Irish coffe and listen to the Irish music. The other great thing about this place is that if you are traveling ,it is so close to the airport and the bart station, both are only minutes away - I always go there before a flight - so much cheaper than eating and drinking at the airport. I highly recommend this spot - casual and clean and the staff are super nice,

This place looks charming, but I will never go back. I visited twice, and twice upon entering I was greeted with a stench that was worse than any college bar you could walk into. It was far worse than just stale beer, it was putrid. You can get a good Guinness here once you get past the stink, but the food is terrible. The first time, I had one of my favorite Irish staples, Shepherd's Pie and it had tomato in the gravy which is supposed to be beef based. It wasn't beefy flavored at all, just terrible. The second time I had another Irish staple, Fish and Chips. With my first bite of fish I could smell ammonia, i.e. spoiled fish. There were 4 pieces on the plate, I took a bite of each, and the first 3 tasted of ammonia. Terrible. Then the bill came, and they over-charged me. Add a cup of soup to your meal, the menu says it costs $3, but they charged me $4. Bottom line, if you want a smelly pub, with bad food, that over-charges you - then this is the place for you.

Pros: Ambience

Cons: Smell, food, over-charges

The best liver and onions on the peninsula -- just like my dad used to make it for me. Good old fashioned comfort foods and great drinks. They also get all the Irish Football games directly from Ireland -- LIVE!!!

If you are in the area and looking for a nice pub style place to stop in for a drink, then this is the place. Located right on El Camino, this place always has a few barstools waiting for the thirsty patron. They have a decent variety of beers on tap. Not the trendiest of bars, but still just a cool place to stop in for a few after work. And if you get hungry after drinking, there are a bunch of fast food establishments just down the street!

This bar is a local Irish bar that friends and family come to have a drink. It has a wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from and has distinct Irish classics readily available. There is a pool table located at this establishment as well as a jukebox. It is a place to relax and have a drink after a hard days work.
