IRENE and her supervisor, DARYL, are the worst people who should not be employed there or anywhere dealing with customers. I just moved to a small apartment and purchased ONE sofabed that was delivered in TWO oversized boxes, and later learned there was no slipcover in these boxes. I was told I signed a contract, signed for THREE pieces, and that it had been two weeks. Who knew anything could be missing with two huge boxes?? I told them it took me two weeks to clear my living room of boxes so I could assemble a sofa that I thought would arrive in one piece and assembled, because they charged me a separate delivery for it. They didn't care. I had called daily since Monday, June 30, and by the third day, July 2, after I felt Irene didn't do enough, I spoke with her supervisor, Daryl, who informed me that they tracked the slipcover! He tried not to reveal the reason, but after I asked repeatedly asked what happened, he said it was delivered to the wrong address!! Nice of them to take responsive action and return my slipcover! I had to find out on my own accord and meanwhile, parts are all over my living room floor because I couldn't complete the assembly without the slipcover. Daryl said the slipcover would be delivered by Friday, July 4, and maybe even July 3. Well, on July 3, I called to confirm the delivery and he said it'll now be Saturday, but he'll check and call back. Of course, he never did and I had to call again, and he then informed me it will be Monday, July 7! I said this is unacceptable and he yelled at me and hung up on me!! My family was supposed to come out from out of town for the 4th of July weekend, but I had to tell them not to come as I had no where for them to sit and sleep! I still have not received my slipcover and am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well as a complaint with IKEA's Corporate Headquarters, the Regional Manager, Harvey Levin, and other consumer watchdogs.

IKEA has some great products, relatively cheap, but good for temporary situations and small spaces. However, if anything goes wrong and you have to deal with Customer Service -- forget it! They expect you to throw your money out the window because in their mind, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG!!

the things from IKEA are beautiful and are in very good quality. I like their styles. And the price is very low. However, they cannot deliver the things to you without charge.

Ikea is one of the store that I find very interesting to go and just spend my time. They have all sort of stuff. From furniture, to kitchenware, to cabients, computers etc. You can pretty much find anything you need to decorate your new or existing home.

it is located close to highway. very easy to find. very large parking area. nice shopping environment. opens till late night. inventory is large, too.

The IKEA located off the 405 in Carson (in that place known as the South Bay Pavilion) is the best furniture store for miles around. Three stories tall, this store has everything you need for furnishing your home. The floor samples give you excellent ideas on how to complete your decor. The prices are not outlandish and sometimes downright cheap. There really isn't any service until you get to the cash registers but that's ok--this store lets you walk around and enjoy yourself as you fantasize about the perfect room. The store itself is stylish; some parts are dirty however, probably due to the high traffic that this IKEA receives. At the exit is also a great place for cheap snacks.

I really like IKEA but this store is not my favorite. They are usually understaffed and the wait time is very long in furniture pick up. They have a small cafe and a child care room on site.

I use to hate this place. I thought it was stupid to have to start on the third floor but my wife made me go oneday and now I love the store. They have good products, especially furniture at great prices.Get their cataog and see what a great selection of products they have. They also have some great close-out specials from time to time. We got a great sofa on sale for $299.00 down drom $599.00 last November.

A fair and reasonable place to get furniture for an apartment or a casual room in the home. This particular Ikea is just off the 405 in Carson. You can see it from the freeway and it's just as huge inside. It's fun because when you walk in you kind of have to walk thru the entire store to get to the cash register. It's kind of like a huge maze and you just follow the path all the way out. Since it's like that, you end up buying more things than you need. They have really great ideas for decorating and putting together a "budget minded" home. Great deals.

Great place to come for low prices on furniture and home items for the young or working class person. They have really cute items and alot of their designs are modeled after the fancier department stores. There stuff is really hip and I've gotten great ideas from them. I like their bedspreads and pillows. I was able to buy a whole bedroom set for under $100. I also bought some chairs from them. Great prices and pretty fair quality.

When you walk into ikea it is like a maze. Luckily you just follow the yellow lines, They have very inexpensive furniture and accesoories. They even have a garden department, Most of the furniture needs to be self assembled, but well worth the cost. The candles are so cheap, i keep going back for more.

This is a perfect store for furniture and home goods for a very low price. You do have to be careful because some of the items aren't made with the strongest wood or finest fabric. You will find some very trendy items for a great deal and you can decorate your home for next to nothing. Try the snack bar for a quick treat, super cheap.

Very good for the "just starting out or don't want to spend too much" person. Lot's of options for furniture, decor and bath goods. Great products for the everyday use, don't expect super high quality but do expect a great deal that you won't be able to find anywhere else.
