don't be fooled
by Susan G.
Crossroad's Trading Company was started as a great idea. Bring your clothes in to trade and sell... someone else will buy it... recycle, help the environment and help the community. It still is a good idea, but what happens when you couple good ideas with money, is the inititial intention gets lost in the big buck greed. Some may call it "gone corporate". Crossroad's has done just that. What used to be one of a kind items lining the shelves and racks is now filled with merchandise stock that Crossroad's has gone into business with. What happens when the store fills up with this stock? You got it. Less to buy form you and me. They still buy, however they are so used to getting in stock from designers and stores with stock to overturn that purchasing a t-shirt from you or I is just simply a waist of their time. And don't be fooled buy the girl with a smile behind the counter. She wants what you are wearing. You figure the rest out.

Great used clothing
by TJ P.
This place is great. Brand names slightly used for amazing prices. There are several locations in the city but this is the only one I have been to. they have designer stuff like Prada, Gucci etc. Their mechandise is constantly changing and they have shoes and accessories on top of great clothing for men and women. I can't leave there without finding something I love and you're money goes a long way.
PROS: Prices, selection, high end. great shops, restaurants and bars nearby
CONS: parking is rough!!!! It gets really crowded sometimes

Crossroads allow you to trade in your own clothes and get new ones from them, and if you are in the mood to search a bit through the store, chances are, good deals will be found. Decent staff, decent layout.

Crossroads is a great place to find designer pieces for cheap prices. I have found everything from Diesel to Marc Jacobs and can afford it all. This place is great, although, you should be prepared to spend some time digging in the racks and fighting other shoppers for space. It is just the fun of bargin shopping, right?

Great place to trade cloths
by Anonymous
This is a great store to trade your clothes that you no longer use. Sometimes it's a shame to throw those clothes away, so getting some extra cash for those clothes that you no longer fit in is a great.

This place is very picky. Basically, they want items that you are probably still wearing. This, however, works great if you're a buyer. Good selection of contemporary fashions, but sometimes mean workers. Crossroads is about 0 percent off from wholesalers. Unlike other thrift stores, Crossroads offers some products in a variety of sizes. If you want fashion like jeans, shirts, purse and jackets, go to Crossroads, but if you want to dress your wild side, head elsewhere.

Crossroads Trading Company provides affordable clothing that is used. They have tons of different styles and even some brand name ones. The stuff they have look brand new. They are clean and not "used like." Plus, they have friendly services and great parking. You can try on clothes too. I definitely recommend Crossroads

Crossroads trading company is awesome if you are looking for vintage clothing of any kind, old jeans, or maybe just a cool accessory like a hat or a belt. They have tons of cool styles here. Not only that, but you can bring in your old clothes to sell back to them. Definitely a very cool place.

I knew I loved this place when...
by msallijo
I found a blue satin Betsey Johnson dress that Im sure was from this years line for $65. Not sure why anyone would want to give this gorgeous frock up...but it's mine now!!
I love going into Crossroads because they always have the best labels, and an especially great shoe selection. And I personally like to trade my stuff in because its good for the environment. I just hate to toss it into the landfill.
Pros: Fantastic finds, recycling is good for the environment
Cons: dont always have my size

Great place but beware of buyers
by foxford
I love this store and have been buying and selling for years there, unfortunately today had a very bad experience with one particular buyer (she has been rude in the past but was worse than usual today!). If you don't enjoy being glared at and not spoken to and being made feel like you crawled out from under a rock, cos your clothes just aren't good enough!! Please think twice before you waste a lot of time waiting and then go home with everything you came with! Awful customer service.
Pros: great deals
Cons: very rude staff

Great finds, but horrible customer service
by esley
good selection of contemporary fashions, but if you're looking for someone to ring you up, don't expect the snobby sales clerks to help - they'd rather chat with each other. i waited patiently at the register, while two sales clerks completely ignored me. every crossroads i have been to has featured a staff of rude and stuck-up fashionistas.
Pros: good selection, high quality, cheap
Cons: staff, rude, snobby

Sellers beware, PICKY!
by mc32471
If you're trying to sell your used duds take heed! This place is very picky. Basically, they want items that you are probably still wearing! This, however, works great if you're a buyer!
If you've recently lost/gained weight or have access to samples of current trends then this place would be okay to sell. Still, you don't get much more than if you sold your things at a yard sale, actually, you'd probably make more that way, but this way you avoid the hassle and inconvenience of hosting a sale.
Also, the place is not that big and the aisles get crowded. This is not unusual for SF, though.
BUT, if you're looking for the classic downtown-sf-financial district-biz-casual-but-trendy-on-the-weekends-girl-on-a-budget-wardrobe then girlfriends this is your place.
Sine qua non?
Recommended for buyers, but only a select group of sellers.
