Members of my family have now purchased three vehicles from Longo Toyota. My parents were first, followed by my cousin, then the vehicle I drive was purchased there as well. They are professional and fair in their dealings. They don't aim to attract customers to their business; they aim to attract clients. I'll definitely recommend them to everybody interested in a new or certified pre-owned vehicle, no matter the distance they have to drive to arrive there.

Went in october to get my car fixed b/c of a hit/run:

1. Took a month to fix moderate damage, not because of the hours required to repair the car, but because of a lack of communication, lack of urgency, lack of organization, and lots of mistakes.

2. Person I dealt with, Mike Cabrera gave me a huge attitude and actually raised his voice at me when I asked him how much longer it will take to fix my car after I waited for 3 weeks.

3. Refused to update me on the status of my car repairs, had to repeatedly call the body shop in order to get a response back.

4. When I finally come to pick up the car, took another half an hour of standing around after finishing all the paperwork waiting to pay my bill because of yet another confusion with my file which appeared to be VERY disorganized, and I find out they didnt even bother to fix the window of the door that was slightly dislocated due to the force of the impact and thus continues to move after fully closed, and makes weird mechanical noises when rolling up. Had told them about this problem when I dropped off the car a month ago, even showed an employee and got confirmation that he understood. I ask about it repeatedly and they claim it had stopped moving and seems fine again, yet a month later I find out nothing has been fixed and they claim they don't hear anything. Said that if I wanted to come back they will try to "diagnose it." Already yet another major inconvenience in a chain of horrible customer service and timeliness, but I come back anyways on Tuesday only to find out the service manager I dealt with decides to take a sick day right before I come in and no one had scheduled my appointment to diagnose the car. They take it to the service dept. and without looking at the window for more than one minute they tell me they don't think anything is wrong with it and if I really want to diagnose it I will have to wait until a technician in the collision dept has time to look at it. Got fed up and left.

I had problem with my air conditioner and need to fix it. I decided to take it to Longo Toyota to be fix. It is well known that the dealer cost more than other repair shop but I always thought that they are reliable.

I took my car to longo, gave it to the salesman, Alex Perez, to have them give me an estimate. The cost was $50 for an estimate if you don't let longo perform the repair and free estimate if you let them perform the repair. I gave them the keys and seat around watching the TV while waiting for the estimate. I waited 3 hours and wonder why it takes them so long to figure out what is need to repair my A/C and how much it was going to be.

After 3 hours, the salesman, Alex Perez, call me up and told that they need to replace the compressor and something with the freon. However he told me that they can not perform the repair and that I should take it to an auto air conditioning shop to have it repair.

After waiting 3 hours and having the salesman told me that they can not perform the repair did not make me very happy. In addition I was told to pay the $50 for the estimate. It was as if they did not want my business. I wonder if this guy Alex Perez have some beef with Longo or something to turn my business away. But I would never come back to do business with Longo Toyota again. And I have purchased 2 cars from Longo over the years.

Months or so later, they have the guts to send me flyers about repair special they have. Boy do they have balls. I guess they figures I like to sit around for 3 hours, pay $50 for not having the mechanical problem fix.

PROS: Nothing good after this incident
CONS: Waste your time and charge you money for it.

I got my car $5000 below retail and their price beat other competitors by almost $2000. The service is excellent as the salesmen there are courteous and responsive. Very Professional. The highlight of this dealer is the courteous and receptiviness of the salesmen and customer support.

I have been a big fan of Symes Toyota in Pasadena for many years until I found out extraordinary deals Longo Toyota provides. Not only their service prices are average at least 15%-20% cheaper than other Toyota dealers, but they also offer free movie tickets and shuttle to take you to a movie theatre if your car takes more than 4 hours of service. If you are a AAA member, then you get another 10% off (some restrictions may apply, just ask them before you agree to the service). I was be able to save $$$ off my latest services with them by switching to Longo Toyota.

Longo was zero-hassle: I came in with invoice price I wanted to pay, test drove the car, and walked out a couple of hours later. One month later, some fool ran a red light and smashed into me. After the insurance was settled, I went back and Longo sold me another car at below invoice - again, no hassle. If I buy Toyota again, I'm definitely coming back here.
