3 Stars: Fun little date spot. (by Juniper N.)

I went to Alegrias on a first date. He brought me there because it was a family favorite for his family. It is one of those random little places that are tucked away in The City. Our waiter (I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out) was charming, funny and very attentive. The tables were a little tight but that is to be expected for a hole in the wall. Tapas, as a rule, are fun food so go there if your date can have a little fun and not be too up tight about trying new things and bumping elbows with the person at the next table. The food was good but most of the dishes we tried were a little dry. I say it is worth a try!

4 Stars: Alegrias Food From Spain (by Betsy R.)

Fun little place. We are big fans of appetizer size meals so we can try more things. We really enjoyed it here, the food was good, and it was walking distance from our hotel.

4 Stars: Alegrias Food From Spain is tasty tapas on Lombard! (by Jennifer M.)

This is a small and very intimate restaurant in the Marina. It is not a very fancy first-date scene like most of the other restaurants in the neighborhood, but it has delicious food! Since it's on Lombard, it's a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth checking out. The appetizers were especially delicious. The service was very friendly.
