I have taken my Ford truck in a couple of times to Nick and the experience has been ok. The prices seem decent, however when he is performing the work, he always finds additional repairs that need to be made. An example of this is I took my truck in for a warning light that turned out to be a fuel sensor problem, and he hit me up for at least 3 other items that needed fixing as well. This included getting a new fuel cap. Ii took my truck in for new tires, and he told me that I needed ball bearings as well. I discussed this issue with my father and he said that Nick was charging way too much for ball bearings. I decided to get my tires elsewhere and they never said anything about needing ball bearings. It seems like Nick hits everyone up for additional items that need to be fixed. The person who recommended me to Nick even said he stopped going because he was tired of all the additional items Nick would say needed to get fixed.

The work that Nick performed was done very well and I have not had any problems. I am just cautious about the additional items he needs to repair all the time.

I would say go to him and see what he says, but be cautious of the items he will tell you that needs to be fixed after he has already started on your vehicle.

Please consider yourself warned. Do not take your car here. Although Nick seems very nice to you on the phone and very proper, he is only so until you have taken your car in.

My car's clutch went out and I decided (poorly) to take it here since it was close to where the car was and the price seemed fair. Within half an hour of taking the car in, I get a call from Nick telling me he's gonna need an additional 250 bux to do the job because my CV boot is leaking. I tell him to leave that alone and just properly replace the clutch. I pick up the car and drive it home and I can feel the clutch pedal vibrating all the time. Now, I know that if an axle/CV joint is broken the clutch pedal will vibrate when the car is moving, but it vibrates without the car moving! I try to explain this to him and he tells me 'I don't know nothing about cars' and hangs up the phone. I call him back and he hangs up the phone again telling me he doesn't have time for this. How do you not have time for your customers? I am going to take the car back there tomorrow morning, and I will post what happens.

Please please please, look elsewhere for service especially if you have a foreign car (read not oldsmobile -that's his specialty). Although his sign claims to be "foreign and domestic," the only cars in his lot and garage are either chevy or gm.

I wish there was a review here on them before I went. There wasn't and I totally regret it. So now there is...
