I found the front desk staff very knowledgeable and helpful regarding my dental insurance information, and the dentist very friendly. She put me at ease, explained everything to me, and I left feeling that I had been taken very well care of. I recommend this office to my family and all my friends!

I love this dental office. The hygenists are friendly and take their time, being careful not to cut up your gums while cleaning your teeth. The front office staff are always friendly and go above and beyond when scheduling appointments and handling insurance. They're superstars!

When I set up my appointment, I told the receptionist I would be on my lunch hour and asked how long it would take. She assured me that it should be about an hour. What she didn't tell me is that first time patients are given an arrival time a half hour earlier then their appointment to fill out paperwork. This paperwork took me all of 5 minutes to complete. They expected me to wait an additional 25 minutes for my appointment. This was not included on my one hour time estimate. I complained and demanded why nobody told me even though I clearly asked what the time constraints were. Once I complained, they did get me in a little quicker but I did not make my hour lunch. Dr. Lawson was friendly and knowledgeable enough but some of his staff is lacking. I will give these guys one more chance then look elsewhere for a dentist.

PROS:
CONS: First time patients prepare to wait!

During rush hour...I drove all the way to Pasadena from Hollywood. After fighting traffic to make it to a 4:00pm appointment, I'm (rudely) told that I am a day late. I had written down the wrong date (admittingly my mistake). I was given major attitude by the receptionist...on top of that, it was demanded that I pay a $30 missed appointment fee. Who knew??? I'd been going to this dentist for 3+ years. After speaking to the office manager...I was told that was the policy...needless to say I will not be back!

PROS: next to Rick's
CONS: attitude from receptionist
