Food tastes ok, but might be contaminated
by Chase H.
I suppose things might have changed, as I haven't been there in three years. But, the reason I quit going there was that I got sick on their food, twice! I'm willing to forgive once, maybe a bad day, perhaps it was something else I ate... etc. But after it happened a second time, I was done. It's too bad because the garlic knots are outstanding and on those occasions when the salad is fresh and crisp, it is tasty! The pizza is adequate. It's better than Domino's or Papa John's, but not by much. Definitely not among the elite. The patio is terrific when the weather is nice.

Go to Zachs for the ambience, the delicious Italian food, the to-die-for garlic knots, and the amazing prices. You can't go wrong here. It has the feel of an old cute house - dim lights, twinlky lights and all. Great afforable wine selections and delicious desserts too. Can't say enough good things about Zachs!

My salad came with pieces of wilted brown lettuce and had bottled caesar dressing thrown on top. The pasta was served covered in cold, canned sauce and vegetables that were still partly frozen. Most shocking of all -- the place was busy!

I love going to Zachs on Ventura Blvd in Studio City. Their pasta is made there and so good. Their sauces are great, alfredo being my favorite. Their Lasgana is the best. They are listed in the Entertainment Book so you get buy one meal get one free type of deal. I like to sit outside so me and my friends do not have to be as quiet as you do inside.
PROS: Good food, fresh pasta
CONS: parking is hard

Amazing Italian food. Warm weather, sit outside for a nice change. Heaters are on when its a little chilly. We have been going here for a few years now and have a favorite waiter, Brian. Make sure you sign up for their frequent dining club. Add your name and address and birthdays of family and coupons come in the mail monthly. On birthdays, coupon for a free dinner with a purchased dinner is presented. Hazlenut Chicken is scrumptuous as all their dishes. Usually no wait and their is valet parking but we usually find a spot on the block or around the back.
