Let's start with my hair - curly, thick, boring brown. I had highlights until my hair was nearly all blonde (and fried). My stylist moved a year ago and I had one bad experience after another looking for someone new so I decided if anyone is going to mess up my hair, it might as well be me...so I tried to do it myself. Needless to say, by the time I met Caitlin at this salon, my hair was bad, bad, bad. Caitlin listened to me and used her magic skills to make my hair beautiful. I've been getting SOOO many compliments. She has a great personality and is a talented stylist, she really took the extra time to make me comfortable and my hair soft and pretty again. I highly reccomend her and hopefully she never moves!

This is a lovely salon in a fun stretch of Beverly Blvd. The staff is friendly and very professional. Bogart is an amazing colorist, stylist , and overall perfectionist. He always gives me his full attention and a careful consultation with each appointment. I have followed this man to four different salons over the past dozen or so years, and am never disappointed. His personality is great, and he has taught me to enjoy my hair instead of hating it.

I went out on a limb and tried Lauren's Salon based on the reviews here and the fact they are participating in salon week. I loved it! They are extremely friendly, and all really know their stuff. Mary did an absolute fantastic job on my hair. After consulting with her, we dyed my hair a dark brown and changed the cut. It looks amazing. This is easily the best it has ever looked.

I am new to LA and have been so nervous to find a good stylist that I can trust and afford. Michelle is the most fun and professional stylist I have ever been to. You can tell she knows what she is doing because she always tells me what she is going to do and why, before she does it. I get stopped almost everyday because of my new cut and color. I am sooo happy i found her! Thank you Michelle!!!!!!!

Michelle is wonderful with both cut and color. I always liked my hair, but she gave me a great update that I like even better, with a much more attractive color with a beautiful shine. Plus, she's soooooooooooooooo nice!!!

Beri has done my hair extensions for the past 4 years and she is by far the best. Nobody can tell that I have extensions. I get a lot of compliments on my hair, my hair is really long down to my waist. In between move-ups I usually loose just a fewstrands. The last 3 month I only lost one, which was the record. My extensions feel and look so natural that it is easier to take care of my hair than before I had extensions, because of the different auburn copper highlights & shades the extensions come in. I don't constantly have to highlight my hair, because the extensions are already that color. Therefore I only have to put highlights on top of my hair every 4 month and it still looks very natural!
Also Beri is the one the most effortdable specialists the I found out there! She is awesome!

I have had my hair extensions for about 5 years. Beri was recommended to me from a friend of mine. I got hair extensions because my hair was thin. When I went to see Beri she was very professional and knowledgeable about hair extensions. She was detailed in her analysis of my hair and when I got my hair done I was so impressed, the color match was perfect, the texture of my hair was perfect and 5 years later I couldn't be happier. The quality of the work that Beri does is so incredibly good that noone can tell I have extensions. In the beginning, I was very reluctant to getting my hair done since it was a cost investment and also the fact that I lived in Pittsburgh, PA 2500 miles away from Beri. I am so glad I got my extensions. At this point in my life I would never go back to my real hair. I travel every two months to see her and time after time she just keeps impressing me with the quality of her work. She has never let me down. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to get hair extensions. She is the best !!!!

I did extensive research on hair extensions and found that HairLocs was the way to go for its low-maintenance, versatility, and a completely natural look. I came across Beri Halouska- a specialist with HairLocs and after one consultation, I have happily returned to her again and again. Not only is she very sweet, funny, and smart- Beri has a great eye for aesthetics/beauty but a very high standard of professionalism as well. She is efficient and skilled but she also takes time to listen and perfect her work.
I am a low- maintenance girl but Beri and HairLocs has made it so easy for me. Hair extensions are like a complete makeover and I am completely satisfied and happy with my hair. (Finally!).

I have had extensions in my hair for the last five years, and have been battling w/ different stylists. Well, thank god I can finally walk around confident now since I had my extensions done by Beri! I've been looking for the perfect color specialist for the past 2 years. My friend referred me to Caitlin Richardson at Lauren's salon . I have to be honest, I didn't know what to expect when I walked in. From my past experiences, most color specialists are all the same. You tell them what you want and they "DO WHAT THEY WANT".
Not Caitlin. I liked her from the beginning. She has great energy and a can do attitude. My hair was really damaged and needed major color correction.
First off- she took the time to get to know me a bit, my personality and then her mind was creating a beautiful image.
Second- She educated me about the different colors I chose and what she need to do to get me "MY" end results.
Third- As she went to town on the foils and colors, she explained the pattern and walked me thru the whole process.
At this point, I could relax because I could see she knew exactly what she was doing.
I'm excited I finally found what I've been looking for "the goddess of blonde color" and my hair is beautiful once again.
caitlin you rock and my hair looks amazing...

I just moved from a small town and made endless calls to friends that could recommend a blonde specialist in Los Angeles. I was referred to Caitlyn Richardson. She immediately recognized my need for good hair color and did not scold me for using a bottle on my last attempt at color. Caitlyn certainly knows her craft. My hair color is now a spectacular blonde and requires little maintenance because of the technique she used to process my hair. She even took the time to follow-up with me to see if I had any questions. As for the salon, it has a comfortable environment with absolutely no pretentious attitude. I was treated as if it was my special day. I highly recommend Caitlyn and Lauren's Salon to anyone that is looking for the Holy Grail of hair color and look forward to my next visit.

After a long and painful search for a place in LA to get my haircut, I've fallen in love with Lauren's. The service is top notch, the experience is most enjoyable, and the haircut exceeds my expectatoins. I felt welcome the moment I walked through the door. Everyone was charming and friendly. By LA standards, the prices are reasonable. I could almost "just hang out" at this place!! I don't know what else to say, except thanks to Lauren for creating an experience that I always look forward to!.

I feel young and carefree....just like I used to when I had that natural blonde (without grey). My highlights are the best! I always get compliments from my friends.

Thanks to my hairdresser Victor, I know my color is going to pop and even my hair texture is clean and without that frizzy look. (as for the cut...he never cuts too much (thank you!) The style is today! For me (I'm in cosmetics...I have to look great for my beautiful customers.

I love my guy Victor. He's my saving grace!

I walked into Lauren’s Hair Salon expecting to get a consultation, quoted a ridiculous price, and walk away in disappointment…like all the rest in LA. Although I live in Los Angeles, I’m a struggling College student who goes to sleep early because I can’t afford to buy coffee every morning. I, however, have destroyed my hair: I bleached it, dyed it multiple colors for 4 years, and then covered it with black. So when I walked into the salon, Caitlin checked out my hair. She knew everything by just looking at my hair.. I left a new person, with hair that was JUST what I wanted. I’ve never had anyone take more time and consideration for what I wanted with my hair before. Caitlin really has a good sense of what people want, and if you don’t like anything you could tell her, she’s easy going and understanding. If you want someone to get the job right go to Caitlin. I could have closed my eyes through the whole thing and never doubt her work…she’s a true artist. I hope you find this review helpful…and trust me when I say she’s a gem hidden in the nook of LA.

Caitlin is great. I recently moved to LA and a friend of mine referred me to her and she is honestly the best stylist. My hair is super damaged AND I have extensions - I was sooo worried to go to someone new and now I wont let anyone else touch my hair! She does the type of extensions that dont damage your hair and dont use any glue or anything and she makes them look so natural - you literally cant tell your real hair apart from the extensions and no one would ever guess that you have them! She is also amazing with color - she literally did the best color I have ever had and it is three months grown out now and I am still getting compliments! I strongly reccomend Caitlin especially to anyone who is hesitant to see a new stylist - she really understands hair and is great at what she does.

I was a client of Caitlin's in Albuquerque on the show "Split Ends". She was wonderful, kept her cool under pressure, was dedicated to me the client and her only concern was that I be pleased with the color, cut, and blow- dry. It is true, I was there for a long time because these were unique conditions for her but I was very pleased with my hair and am honored to have had the opportunity to meet her and have her do my hair. I went to David today to have my hair done. It is amazing that Split Ends could find these two truly wonderful and talented people. I am honored to know both of them.

It's taken me a while to find someone who actually knows what they're doing with curly hair, and I'm so glad I found Michelle! She made sure she understood exactly what I wanted and she explained everything she did (as opposed to some stylists I know who just go at it with checking with you). I wanted short, spunky curls and that is exactly what I got! I was planning on going home after my haircut, but decided to show off my new look at the mall instead : ) Michelle's a total sweetheart (along with the other people who work there) and I will definitely be going back!

Caitlin ROCKS! I was recommended by a friend to see Caitlin and I was anything but disappointed! I was hesitant to change my color, but took her advice and I am so glad I did! I went back a week later to have her do extensions and they are the best in Hollywood - by far! I get so many complements and no one ever knows I have them! I came to Caitlin for help with my lifeless curly hair and she really came through for me. She has changed the health of my hair because of her technique for applying color. My hair has gotten thicker because I have less breakage now. She has a great eye for color and was able to pick the right shade of blonde FOR ME. She also cuts my hair just right. I have followed Michelle through a few salons bc she is so personable, talented, and accommodating. This salon is wonderful. Michelle has given me great haircuts and I cannot speak enough for her. She listens to you for what you want and does not go outside your comfort zone if you don't want her to. BUT if you do-she takes great care of you and makes you look MAHVELOUS DAHLING!!!!!

I recently moved back to LA and was having a hard time finding a stylist I was happy with, but when a friend recommended Isabell, my search was over! She managed to find the perfect color for me, and every time I leave the salon, my hair looks amazing. All the staff at Lauren's is very friendly and I always leave feeling pretty and pampered. All that, and the prices are reasonable, too! If you're looking for a stylist, give Isabell a try - you won't be disappointed!

Well i am rather picky when it comes to a sylist, so after moving to LA from Boston a little over 2 months ago I was super nervous about starting all over again. I spent a lot of time researching places online and came accross Laurens salon on citysearch which had so many amazing reviews that I had to give a call. Lauren herself called me back and asked me specifically what i was looking for and was super sweet. She put me in touch with Michelle, who also called to chat about my hair before the appointment. Going into my first appointment I was already comfortable and excited due to the amazing customer service I received just over the phone. Michelle did my color perfectly ( nice blonde highlights and a simple trim)..i was offered a discount of 20% off since i was a new client and was so happy with my hair i referred my other friend from Boston to Michelle. 2nd Hair appointment was saturday, i went in for something totally different..this time i was going darker and a short haircut, a bob cut..Michelle knew exactly the look i was going for and did an amazing job..i feel like i just had a makeover and to top it off that nigth I received so many compliments on my hair that I was just glowing with happiness. Thanks Michelle your the best!

I have been getting my hair cut and highlighted for years and when I moved to LA I didn't know where to begin to look for a new stylist. I saw a girl out at a bar that had fantastic color and cut and I asked her where she got it done- she told me Victor from Lauren's did it for her and that he was amazing. I can't tell you how right she was. Although I spent a little more here than I usually pay, it was worth every penny. I get so many compliments on my hair and I have never loved a haircut more. Not only that, but the cut lasts so long because the layers were done so well. He is the best and I will continue coming here and referring people to this salon for a very long time. I go to Lauren's to see my stylist, Jaime Yang. He is quite outstanding with hair and always gives me what I am looking for. He understands your needs and wont do anything rash even though it is the latest trend-- which is more than I can say for other stylists (ie. I recently went in after trying to grow my hair for over two years to tell Jaime I wanted it shorter. He politely but firmly talked me out of it for the reason of how hard I've worked-- and really I am glad he did). I feel like Jaime is an advocate for hair and not for his commission. He is also great with hair color and highlights. Try out Jaime- you cannot go wrong.

I have been getting my hair done by Jaime for over 2 years, and it just keeps getting better. He always understands exactly what I want. He is very professional, and a sweetheart! The staff at Lauren's salon are amazing! From their assistant who gives amazing head massages to Lauren (the owner) who introduced herself and was very friendly. The salon is very clean, and absolutely beautiful. If you want your hair color and cut to look fabulous, you must go to Jaime!!! I guarantee you will be satisfied!

Lauren's Salon is one of the friendliest salons I've ever been to. Victor who has been doing my hair for about 4 years is astounding. He is so precise and fast. I was looking for a place to get my hair cut and came across this salon on citysearch. I read all of the comments and made my appointment. First, they were more than accommodating and were able to get me in right away. I was making a drastic change and was very nervous. I got 10 inches cut off so i could donate it. Victor was my hair stylist and he is truly talented. I let him do what he thought would look best since I was going from hair down to the middle of my back to above my shoulders. The cut turned out better than I could have ever hoped. I feel so confident with this new look and it is all thanks to Victor! I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking at getting your hair cut. I had a great experience.

In town from NY and desperately needed my hair colored and a brow wax. I chose Lauren's because the minute I called to book an appointment the person who answered was incredibly friendly and willing to book me an appointment at my convenience. I found out a few minutes later it was the owner herself, Lauren. From my consultation to the minute I walked out the door after my color and brow wax the customer service didn't stop. My brow wax was with Tamara (one of the best waxes I ever had) and my master colorist, Caitlin was amazing. It was like hanging out with a friend PLUS her ability to add and change texture to hair by way of color is genius. I had to cut the brassiness and make my highlights more natural. Caitlin went beyond to make me look and feel great! Thanks girl!

This is literally one of the best salons I have been to. It's clean, bright and cheerful, unpretentious, friendly and stylish. The staff is extremely talented and Lauren the salon owner is fabulous!

Okay, have you ever gotten a hair cut so good that you actually looked forward to seeing yourself in the mirror in the morning? Finally, I've found someone who cuts hair so incredibly well that I actually like the way my hair looks each and every day --- right up until the next cut! No more wrestling with excess product to make it work! With Victor's cuts, they practically fall into place on their own.

As a business professional who likes his fashion a little trendy, it's a bit of a tight rope to get something uniue without being too unconventional. Thanks to Victor, my hair is manageable, stylish, and with just the right amount of "edge" to make me feel unique, but not out of place in the workplace.

While waiting for my appointment in Lauren's Salon (clean contemporary look, great friendly crew) I've noticed some of Victor's female clients finishing up wtih him. They always look very "upscale" and have an aura of sophistication and style about them. I think that "company" says allot about Victor too. Though I know he specializes in women's color and cuts, Victor has always taken his time with me and always made me feel my absolute best. I strongly reccommend this guy to EVERYONE!

I am so thrilled to have FINALLY found Jamie at Lauren's Salon. He is, undoubtedly, the most talented hairstylist I have ever met.

I am a guy who has been trying to find an incredibly stylish & cutting edge haircut for YEARS in Los Angeles, and I have always had to settle for inferior haircuts. I even moved to Chicago for a year and got more stylish haircuts THERE (in the middle of the midwest) than I did in Los Angeles! How is that even possible?

Anyways, I spent the last few years in vain bouncing around from salon to salon, always settling for a mediocre cut. FINALLY -- thanks to the other reviews on CitySearch -- I stumbled upon Jamie at Lauren's salon and I couldn't be happier!

Seriously, Jamie GETS IT. He understands how to cut your hair so it looks AMAZING and so it complements your face PERFECTLY. He will give you a cut that is both stylish & cutting edge, and will give you excellent advice on what products to use and how to style your hair properly. My haircut is so great that I can style it multiple different ways: I can gel it up to look totally cutting edge for a nightclub, and I can style it down to look more conservative during a business meeting. TOTALLY AWESOME!

I got so many compliments on the first day of my new haircut with Jamie that I lost count. I was inspired enough by this haircut to post my first review on CitySearch about him.

If I got stock in Apple everytime someone wanted to know my secret, I'd be a rich woman. I've been going to Isabell since I first moved to L.A. many moons ago, and she has trimmed and colored me to perfection. My hair is now one of my favorite features -- it's wasn't like this pre-Isabell, trust me. She is a great person to boot and the prices are bargains. Another bonus is the cool new environs -- very Zen and hotel spa-esque. Also request a yummy foot massage and/or manicure while Isabell transforms you. This is one of L.A.'s best kept secrets... actually, now that I think about it -- delete this entry. I want Isabell for myself and MY friends!

Isabell Csaki is the best colorist, that I have experienced in my entire life of coloring my picky hair. For the last 10 years Isabell colors my hair so luminous and natural, that literally women ask me on the street, who does my hair! I have recommended her to all my german blond girlfriends and all of them were stunned about that perfect skill on how to create the right color for every type of blond. Special haircuts with new techniques are custom made and only for you! I strongly recommend Isabelle for high maintaining blondies in this world!!!

I have been going to Jaime for color,cuts and up do's for 5 years now. He never lets me down, he is one of the actual few talented hairdresser's in Los Angeles. If you are going out to an event he will make you look like you came off a cover of Vogue. His make up is magical as well. I am a blonde and he always get my color and cut exactly the way I like it, without it looking trashy. He has the most adorable personality and style. I love him. The salon is beautiful, very chic and classy. I feel like a princess every time I go there. Lauren ( The owner) always takes the time to introduce herself and make every client feel at home and comfortable. If you want beautiful hair and a salon that actually takes time to care about thier clients go to Lauren's and ask for Jaime!

I visited Los Angeles with my daugther this past weekend and we intended to get a make over while visiting. I had done some research and found this website and read all the wonderful reviews for this salon, so I made an appointment. I must say that I have never had such a great hair style EVER!!! My daughter had had a really bad hair cut before and when she saw what Jaime had done with mine, she was so impressed. Without an appointment Jaime offered to stay late and do her hair also.
He was able to give her a new trendy style without cutting her hair short.
We both LOVE our new hair styles and would recommend Jaime at Lauren's Salon to anyone!!!

I can't say enough about this salon! I have been going to Michelle forever and she is by far my favorite stylist in the world. She finally found a salon that uses all natural based products and cares about how you look and feel while you are there. I go order my lunch next door or have a glass of wine and just relax. It has been a great experience everytime I go and see her. She takes her time with you to make sure she knows exactly what you want. I aslo love the fact it is a full service salon. I get my facials and nails done there too! .

I've made the permanent move from Chicago to LA and needed someplace to get my hair relaxed. Since my hair is unusually textured, I've been really concerned about finding the right place to have my touch-ups. Lauren herself called me up after I made my appointment to discuss what I needed, and she booked my appointment with Jamie.

I went in this morning and let me tell you, I've already made a second appointment for a cut! Jamie is so fun and sweet, and he really listened to me about what I needed. He is very precise about everything and takes his time, but it still didn't take longer than usual for the touch-up. All the other stylists seemed very nice and the vibe is laid-back glamour. Loved it.

And the pricing is DEFINITELY right.

Isabel has cut and highlighted my hair for the last decade. Before getting to her I was on a hairdresser crusade, and not one matched up to her. You know why?Isabel really truly cares for her clients and their looks; you?re not just a "quick buck head of hair." No one in LA cuts a better ?Bob? than her, or cuts better. Period. It?s always perfect, and the highlights blend in so well with my natural hair that you see the effect, but wouldn?t know I added some color. Also, I?m really happy Isabel/Lauren?s Salon Spa moved to their present location, next door to the King?s Road Cafe. The salon is spacious and you?re treated like a queen (including a complimentary glass of wine if you wish). Oh, and the price for her hairdos is right, too!!!!

I was just in at Lauren's Salon for the first time and had Michelle give me the best make over ever. I had lifeless dull hair that didn't really do anything right. Now I have amazing highlights that brighten my eyes and make my skin even look better. I never realized how much color can truly affect your overall appearance. I am definetly going back. I followed Shelly from another salon in the area, and I am so glad I did! Never have I had such excellent customer service. Not to mention, she is the best colorist ever - hands down. My hair was plain, long and mousy brown. I was a little nervous about changing it up, but she was so awesome I relaxed. She turned my long boring hair into a trendy, beautiful blonde bob and I haven't stopped getting compliments!!!! Each time I go she does something different, and that's always my favorite visit! (till the next visit anyway...LOL)
The spa itself is very comfortable and not snooty at all. The foot massage therapist they have is amazing! Nothing is better than getting your feet massaged while your hair is getting done - that's an experience I highly recommend!
The only downside of the entire experience is the parking, so I suggest having someone drop you off if you can. Other than that, I always look forward to my "hair day".
Shelly is a true artisan at her craft of creating the perfect head of hair :-) I can't recommend her enough!

I was in desperate need of fixing my roots and new to the area so I called around a few places and decided to try Lauren's Spa. Since I was a new customer, Lauren (the owner) wanted to take the time to talk to me personally to discuss what I was looking for in order to make sure I got just what I wanted. She was extremely friendly and because I wanted blond highlights recommended Caitlin to me. They were able to fit me in last minute on a busy Saturday even though I called Friday evening. Caitlin specializes in blonds and seriously did an amazing job. She's a perfectionist and really listened to what I wanted. If you're looking for a high-end trendy place that isn't pretentious this is the place to go. Caitlin was a really awesome and down to earth--no awkward convos. Anyways, left with just what I wanted..if you're going blonde ask for Caitlin!

I have had my two-process color done in the most expensive salons in Los Angeles and NYC, but NO ONE does it as consistently or as well as Isabell Csaki. All her customers agree that she is the best. I've been going to Isabell at Lauren's for at least 10 years now, and the salon has only gotten better! Isabell is the best colorist I've ever had and I am a fanatic about not having my hair look "done". I have long, dirty blonde, beachy-looking hair, and I like that it looks "natural". Isabell gives me subtle highlights that blend really well and are not harsh on my hair. The salon's products always smell so yummy and everyone in the salon is friendly--not snobby like some L.A. salons. Recently, the place has added services and I can't wait to try them out when I have time!

Having lived in several cities across the U.S. I have never found a better person, Isabel, to color both my and my wife's hair - in particular my my wife's RED hair. As I understand it, red is one of the most difficult to match/blend. I always go with my wife when she gets her hair colored. Isabel does things I've never seen anybody else do - and the results are fantastic. No "hot" or pink roots. The day my wife has her hair colored it looks perfect - no additional days needed for the colored hair to "calm down" or blend in to match her natural hair color. Isabel makes it match perfectly IN THE SHOP before you leave. Isabel is truly a unique artist I highly recommend. If you've never been able to get your hair color exactly the way you've always wanted it to be - see Isabel - you'll be very pleased.

I followed Shelley (Michelle) from another Salon to Lauren's because after newly arriving in LA and searching all over for an awesome colorist/stylist I finally found one in Shelley. Shelley is so friendly, talented, flexible re hours (I love that! No month long wait to get in and see her - one time she even agreed to stay really late to squeeze me in after work) and helpful (esp. when you don't know what the heck to do with yourself!). Shelley is the type of stylist that once you find her you are set for life!! And, I am loving Lauren's salon - Lauren and the staff are all very friendly (always offering wine/coffee/tea etc. and even running out to put money in the meters for you).

I am one of the many loyal clients of Shelly's at Laurens Salon. But, I can confidently say that I am one of her biggest fans. She consistantly creates a look that I love everytime, whether I want a completely new style, a new color or if I need just a trim from my last awesome cut. I will be honest and say that I hate getting my hair cut and I am officially the worst at recreating the look after I leave the salon. But Shelly has a relaxed way of explaining the style and this amazing way of showing me how to recreate it. And I can! Plus, she is the sweetest thing you will ever meet.

One more thing. The salon is the cutest place! It is so beautifully decorated with gentle drapes, stunning candles, funky wall hangings and everyone is so lovely. They friendly greet you with the option of wine, crackers and fun little candies making the whole experience a luxury, not just a boring trip to the hairdressers where you sit under ugly lights and read the New Idea dated back from last year. The prices are great also! And they offer more that just hair services!

So, do it right! Her name is Shelly and the place is Laurens Salon. I drive all the way from Marina Del Rey just to see her.

I'd always been a bit skeptical about hairdressers who do both cut and color. I'd find they were really colorists who also cut or stylists who did color on the side...and they were way better at one than then other. But Isabell is really terrific at both and that's a big advantage because she brings a total vision to your hair. Plus, since it is in her nature to be warm and generous and accommodating, I can pop in for a roots touch-up and ask her to tweak my bangs or snip a layer or two where my hair is starting to hang a little heavy, or give me an on-the-spot lesson in how to get my ends to flip up. She is FLEXIBLE and also honest (No, you don't need a cut yet), which are great gifts in a stylist. It's also a gift to find a salon with a low-key neighborhood vibe and top-notch talent. Plus, the products they use have the most fantastic scents!

Michelle from Lauren's Salon Spa is my hairstylist for LIFE! For my entire existence, I?ve always thought of my hair as my worst feature. No matter what stylist I tried or what picture of a celebrity I brought in, I always went away from the salon disappointed in the results. Frankly, I gave up trying. As a devote patron of Kings Road Cafe, I never really knew this magnificent salon was so close to me. I was walking back to my car after lunch one afternoon when I noticed a pretty young girl with a magnificent smile and gorgeous hair walking past me. I had to stop her and compliment her hairstyle. After chatting with this charming young lady for quite sometime, she had convinced me to me to make an appointment with her. It was an appointment I would never regret! I reluctantly arrived for my appointment, but Michelle put me at ease and told me exactly what I needed for a cut and color. I?m not an expert on hair and was at her mercy, but her pleasant demeanor and confidence made me trust her. I?m glad I did because my hair has never looked so GREAT! Caitlin Richardson at Laurens Salon and Spa has consistently given me the best haircuts Ive had in LA. I was referred by my roommate, who is a girl, so I was hesitant. After I arrived I felt completely at ease and I immediately was greeted by everyone in the salon, and was soon hanging out and being served wine and cookies... fastest way to a man's heart! Caitlin may have mostly women clients, but she does great cuts for men with longer "rocker" or "surfer" hair as I do. She now does hair for many of my friends, men and women, who rely on their image to keep them up to date with other performing artists and personalities. She has even come on location to style me for shoots and always makes time for me, even last-minute. Also Lauren is a charming hostess! You will leave her salon with a good ego boost, and a great look every time! PS-- Caitlin works late nights, great for my work schedule: UNTIL 10 PM! So convenient!

I got my haircut by Caitlin this past weekend. SHE ROCKS, DUDE! She spent so much time talking with me about what I wanted before the cut. And during the cut, she checked back with me to make sure I liked what she was doing. Her dedication to her profession is awesome, and is her sparking personality. She had me talking and laughing the whole time--what fun!

The Salon itself is lovely. It has a very friendly atmosphere and everyone is there to make you more comfortable. You can tell that the staff really enjoy working together. Even the owner, Lauren, came out and introduced herself to me, personally!

If I could afford it, I'd fly out from Washington, D.C., just to get my haircut at this place with Caitlin.

my best friend and i set out to explore the world outside of our small town. we went to the Hollywood area and wanted to get the "star treatment." we decided a new, fun, and creative look was just what we needed, then we found Victor. we decided to put our new California look into his hands. i never felt uneasy about what Victor was doing with my makeover. i loved Victor's attention to detail. he also took the time to teach me how i could style my hair to look my best at home. he also gave his make-up expertise to help me effectively use the make-up i had abandoned at home because of my lack of cosmetic knowledge. he took the time to get to know my personality in order to find the best style for me. thanks!

I was visiting the Hollywood area and wanted a TOTALLY new look. i am from a small town and found myself visiting Victor to do a transformation! Way to go Victor. He took time to know my hair type and what cut would work for my lifestyle. He gave me tips on easy care and introduced me to hair care products that truly made a difference in my daily hair styling. i was never one to use "stuff" in my hair. i left my new look in his capable hands and was so impressed. i highly reccommend Victor Ontiveros as anyone's stylist. Affordable prices and friendly, attentive staff and just next store is the Kings Road Cafe. The best hair cut and best latte you will ever drink. If you have something in mind or if you need her to come up with a style for you she is amazing and can do it. She can cut, colour, add extentions, anything you want, Caitlin is a professional and her hair styles grow out nicely because of her precise cutting.
So treat yourself and visit this centrally located salon on Beverly Boulevard, just down the road from the Beverly Center. When you leave Lauren's salon you will look amazing, have a big smile on your face and everyone will be asking you where you got your hair cut.

I have been going to Lauren's for over a year now and have referred many execs and other on camera talent. and actors. Lauren's salon has a clean and crisp look and has amazing energy that makes you feel right at home. Upscale service in a relaxed environment.

Caitlin is not only my personal hair stylist but my wardrobe stylist as well. She dresses me for many red carpet events as I do on-camera hosting for CBS mobile. I have to keep my style easy, and current and she is able to give me a trendy yet the ability to maintain an easy to do functional look.

She has taken the time to teach me how to correctly dry my hair and bangs as well. There is nothing worse than getting a great cut but having no idea how to get that out of the salon look when you get home and try to do it yourself. Feel free to ask her for help she is ready and willing to teach you some secrets.

Do your self a favor and set an appointment there asap. PS. She is great at color and specializes in blonde's that my friends rave to me about.

I love going to Lauren's to visit my favorite stylist Caitlin Richardson. I have been living in Los Angeles almost 4 years and met Caitling about 2 years ago. I have never followed a stylist when they change salons, but I will follow her anywhere. She is truly amazing. I have never trusted ANYONE with my hair, the way I trust Caitlin. She cuts bangs like no other. She taught me how to do my own blowout, and her coloring is perfect always, and i have gone from platinum blond to dark brown. I am a designer and she also does the hair and styling for ALL of my shoots. She always makes time to do my hair even if it's last minute for an event or before a trip. Caitlin has been cutting my hair for the past five years and I've followed her around from salon to salon because she does such a good job with my hair! In fact, I live in San Francisco and fly down every few months just to see her because she's the only person I trust! I really enjoy getting my hair done at Lauren's. .Caitlin has been my personal hair stylist for abut a year now and I consider her to be an artist. She created cutting edge hair colors and I was alway gets many compliments on the blowouts. Working in the entertainment its important to have someone who cares about you and your hair.

Caitlin has been my hair stylist for almost two years now and I would not go anywhere else! I have curly hair and she knows how to handle it! Caitlin has a fun personality and always makes you feel at home. I recently moved to Thousand Oaks and will continue to see Caitlin. Lauren's Salon Spa is a wonderful experience...enjoy!

I have been having Caitlin cut my hair for about a year and I can honestly say that I've never been happier. I used to walk out of most haircuts feeling like I needed to give it a week or so before it looked "just right"...Not the case here. I walk out and the cut is perfect. She is so on top of her game. Caitlin is a true professional and i would highly recommend her to anyone that has gone through the frustration of finding a stylist that leaves them smiling. The Salon is great too...easy to find (right next to King's Road Cafe) and easy to find parking as well. Anyway, call and book your appointment!!!
