Good Thai lunch buffet. My favorite is the pineapple curry and lemongrass soup. All you can eat. Only drawback is that one is charged for not eating all of the food on their plate, if they order the buffet.

Best Thai ever! My husbands Massaman Curry literally seemed to melt in his mouth. While it was prepared differently than we're used to, it was unbelievably fabulous.I ordered the Chicken Kai Curry and was surprised to find 2 whole breasts simmering in a heavenly curry sauce with potatoes and carrots.I wondered how I'd cut up the chicken...no need to worry! It was so tender it simply shredded with the pressure of my fork. The Thai Ice Coffees were delicious! The staff was friendly, prompt, and pleasant. Fairly priced for the quality of food.We expect to eat here every time we're in Monterey.

Well...after having a totally bad day at a local salon, I decided to go to Siamese Bay for some
Thai food. This was my first time and well..this place is wonderful! I was immediately seated and
the staff is friendly and prompt. I ordered the Panang Curry, Coconut Chicken Soup and a noodle dish, I think was called Gaicoor and Thai iced tea. All I can say is WOW! The Panang curry I ordered was mild, sweet with a touch of spice and it it was filled with various vegetables like carrots, celery, mushrooms
and I requested my curry with tofu instead of meat and they have a great selection of dishes on the menu that they can alter for vegetarians.I also loved the noodle dish...Gaicoor. This dish was delicious and the noodles were a large flat noodle, pan fried with a bit of egg, sprouts and chicken. This dish had a great flavor and they made so much, you could actually have enough for leftovers. The coconut soup was
really , really tasty! Wow..the soup had a really smooth texture and you could taste the coconut, the lemon grass and it went well with sliced pieces of chicken. I recommed that if you go here and are with a group of people, order the large order(pot) of this soup ...it is really good! I also ordered a darkish, orange Thai Iced
Tea. Wow! This is was a interesing and delightful iced tea. It was unique, it was sweet with a cream or
half and half poured into it ..and the taste was like perhaps a sweet persimmon. And last, I ordered the
Fried Bananas for dessert. Another WOW!..The dessert was comprised of 4 halved bananas fried in coconut batter and served warm ,with a dollop of coconut ice cream..all I can say ...is YUMMY! A great dessert to share. I have had Thai food from Los Angeles to San Francisco and Siamese Bay is by far the best I have ever had! People.... if you are in a Thai food mood or never tried Thai, don't walk ..RUN to Siamese Bay! By far the best ever!

I travel for a living and have eaten at many Thai restaurants all over the US (international too). The overall food quality at Siamese Bay is tops. The only place I have had Thai food that tastes as good is in a few high-end hotel restaurants in Bangkok. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff warm and friendly. If able, they will modify and prepare any dish to your specifications. Everything is wonderful but I usually get the Bangkok Duck as my main course. Flavorful and spicy! Not only is this the best Thai food in the local area but perhaps the best you will ever have.

It's all about the food! Different dishes have different flavors (and good, fresh ones, too). Customize the spicing for your taste. Best chicken panang I've had from Santa Barabara (in the south) through San Francisco (in the north). Also try their Bangkok duck, chicken satay, steamed dumplings, garlic broccoli with pork, chicken salad, tom yum gai, and mangos with sticky rice (in season) or coconut ice cream.
