Ratings_icons Granite Expo is a waste of time.

So I go into the Emeryville location to get an estimate for kitchen cabinets, sink and a counter top. Jose asked me if I needed help. I knew exactly what I needed having remodeled other kitchens before. To make a long story short, Jose was constantly answering his cel phone. More then a dozen calls. This continued for about 1.5 hours. This was a small remodel. An 8-foot counter with cabinets and 2 wall cabinets. I knew exactly what I needed. Not rocket science. Well, after 1.5 hour of this I finally asked for help from Jessica. After Jessica looked into what I needed, she informed that the cabinets were not in stock. WOW! Jose was soooo helpful. At this point I wanted to speak to the manager. If you think that was bad, guess who was the manager. JOSE! He just sat there and smirked. Wow Jose I hope you're proud of yourself. If management this incompetent and rude I wonder how the installers and delivery people are. Hmmmm. Makes you wonder huh?

If you want to waste your time go to Granite Expo. After this experience I was determined not to spend a dime at Granite Expo and share my experience with others. I sourced out other vendors in San Francisco on Bayshore and on the other side of the freeway next to the swap meet and found, not only is Granite Expo a waste of time but they OVERCHARGE. I found that the other vendors were at least 25% cheaper and had everything in stock. Read what others have said. The other postings speak for themselves.

Ratings_icons Horrible Place

The people are rude. Not approachable for questions. The cabinets are of poor quality. They are stapled or screwed. All the cabinets are covered with plastic and one cannot open the cabinets. When asked to see one cabinet, the response was we don't open them.

Also if you cancel the order they charge 3%, which they didn't mention earlier.

Before I came to Floor Store, I came here. Everyone was rude, and their attitude was, take it or leave it! I had some questions, but no one bothered to approach, let alone asnwer anything.

This guys are good. They did a fabolous job doing marble, granite and porcelain tiles. They will also do your cabinets, kitchen and bathroom countertops. Should try them out.
