I picked MPCS for the price, intending to change to a "better" school when I returned from maternity leave. We ended up staying for 2 1/2 years, until my son graduated from kindergarten. He received a lot of individual attention, especially in his kindergarten class of 9 students. He learned to read & write before kindergarten. Thanks to his caring & patient teacher, he learned to count by 2's, 5's, and 10's, to add, and to write in cursive. Now at his new 1st grade school, his teacher says he is at the top of his class. I learned that inexpensive doesn't always mean inferior quality. True, the playground isn't as nice as a more expensive school, but I think it's better that he learned so much & developed a love for school.
