You shouldn't trust this shop all of you!!
I purchased a dress $27 here, but they've sold same one with the different prices in one another their shop.(They have 2 shops in Haight St.) It was $14, but they never mentioned about that when I purchased one.
As can be seen they are not nice.

Pros: great store good clothing

Cons: bad fabric

After staying in Union Square with all the "high end" shops I was hoping to find a nice boutique shop that had cute clothes at reasonable prices. Somehow I knew I'd find that in Haight Ashbury. Walking down the street I immediately noticed the sale sign and decided to check it out. There were lots of cute clothes, especially dresses, but most of them didn't fit me very well. I'm a bit curvy and the cut of the dresses made my hips looks huge and I had a little bit of a pregnant look as well.

I finally found the cutest top for only $19.99. The fit was flattering and the pattern was adorable (black and white polka dots). Based on the other reviews I can see how some of the clothing may fall apart fairly quickly. Then again, so does stuff at Old Navy! I will make sure to wash the shirt by hand, using Woolite, so that it lasts more than one wear.

Pros: Cute selection, Reasonable prices

Cons: Cut of dresses fairly limited

san francisco has a bunch of small boutiques with unusual but hip clothes at good prices, and this store definitely gets to be included on my list. i've found some great stuff here - so did my mom, actually, when she came to visit, as well as friends with varying tastes in clothes. i haven't had anything fall apart, but i take precautions by handwashing things that look delicate.

Pros: unique items, good prices

Cons: a bit on the annoyingly hip side

I really liked their selection. I bought a bunch of their clothes. Every single last item I bought fell apart after one washing. I will never shop their again.

X Generation is a welcome discovery for me. I found it one day while walking along Haight Street. It's a fairly small store with trendy young women's clothing that are very affordaby priced. On my last visit they had very cute tops in the trendy Victorian style and some funky coats. They have nice-looking jeans that go for about $70, which makes their jeans not that much of a deal. The associates leave you alone while you shop.
