Arcadia Sash & Door Co

This is the most horrible company that i have ever dealt with. I should have come to this site first to see what other people had to say. If you want to hassle and deal with problems and work not getting done call these people...they will figure out a way to screw it up. Not to mention that they never call back. Oh and there best installer Tony...a joke as well. I will say that if you want a half *** job come here its not cheaper but just horrible work. If you have time to sit around and wait for the phone to ring you could wait till your dead. The owners told a friend of mine that because they didn't call me back they thought id figure out myself that they didn't want to talk to me. Talk about breach of contract!! Oh yeah and they don't deliver the parts that you have ordered. They claim that they were delivered but when i was at the office we found the parts in the warehouse, oops that's only happens every time that i order something. I hope they go down under...and i recommend never to use them, read what other people say as well as I'm not the only one that they didn't call. John the owner is absolutely an idiot. Tom the other owner is smarter than him but not by much. And Tina the wife needs a cat leash! Spend your hard earn dollars else where.

As a general contractor, I need to order materials and supplies for the remodeling job I am working on. I go to different companies to meet different budget needs and expectations, but Arcadia Sash and Door is always on my quote list for windows and doors. Their salespeople are always pleasant to work with, and my quote is coming through my fax when promised, if they don't get it to me directly over the phone. I have ordered materials from them several times with no major problems.

I had two instance of dealing with the company, and both time I was disappointed. When I first asked them to come and give an estimate for several window replacement years ago, a sale rep came and did all the necessary measurement and is courteous and efficient, but when I decided to go alone with them, they never follow up, so I just drop the case eventually that time.Recently I decided that I shall try them out again for the replacement windows, The owner came and was very nice and courteous and suggested that I shall just repair those windows, as there is no need to replace them at all. He took the time to take the window apart and check and said that they will get hold of another company to do the necessary repair for me, and if other company will not do it, they will make sure it is taken care of themselves. So I waited and waited, no one ever call back after weeks, so I called back and leave my phone number and asked for my case again, and they kept saying that Tom, the owner is not in the office but will leave my number to him. But no one ever called back, and this happened for three times, the last time I called I just asked that to let me know if they are able to find someone to fix it or not, if not just let me know, so I can ask other to come, but still no one called back afterward. Don't get me wrong, the owner is a nice guy, but I think the company is very inefficient and is terrible in following through as other reviewer had indicated. The reason why I had asked them again and again, is because they were the company that installed my house window when the house was built by the contractor. If I did some research first myself about their service from other reviewers first, I would probably never go to them.

I recently had this crazy idea to build a new home without the help of a designer. Completely hopeless with the style I was looking for and would have to live with; Arcadia Sash and Door, Inc. took the time to meet with me. Having to start from ground zero, my sales person spent several hours with me on numerous occasions reviewing plans without charging any consulting fees. Their large and beautiful showroom gave me the ability to actually see and test the quality of many vendor products. I was given quotes for more than just a few vendors to purchase from that could fit within my budget. I just can't thank Arcadia Sash and Door, Inc. enough for making this experience, which seemed so hopeless to start, an enjoyable and effortless one. Each person was very pleasant and their office had a very homelike atmosphere. I would recommend Arcadia Sash and Door, Inc. to everyone.

Arcadia Sash came to my house to measure my interior doors, and still sent me the wrong size and style. When I called Steve told me that there was nothing that they can do with the doors I already had, but he will sell me new ones at his cost. When I asked him what am I supposed to do with $700.00 worth of doors that I could not use. (dead air). I was told that Tom (the owner) was going to call me back, two weeks later I am still waiting for his call. Do not use these guys for anything their service is horrible, Door and Window Plus in S. El Monte is good on service.

I got a quote from Arcadia on some windows I was doing. The salesman said he would fax it to me the following week. It took 4 weeks to get it from them. I went with someone else. Guys do your homework I got burned.

Arcadia Sash came to my house and gave me a good price on my windows. I signed the contract thinking that what they were telling me would actually happen. 8 weeks later no windows and no returned phone calls. Finally I go in and ask them what is going on. They say that Milgard messed up and it will take another 4 weeks. So I call Milgard with this information. Milgard says Arcadia never ordered the windows until the week I called. Did they forget about me. They sure cashed my check quickly. It took a total of 13 weeks to get my windows installed by Arcadia. The windows look fine but I am not impressed. They wouldnt give me a discount and kept telling me it wasnt their fault. Sorry I just dont believe them. I cant recommend this company and have to say I think they are very unorganized.

This company provided us with our entire house replacement for windows in less than 4 hours. We are very happy with them . I was concerned because I had read the previous review wich mentions the poor follow through so I mentioned it to them at the time when I purchased the windows and they assured me that I would have a good experience and I did. I feel like I threatened them into good service and a quick instal date but it was all worth it. About 1/5th the cost of the Pella store in Pasadena and about 10% less than Home depot. Great merchandise and easy to deal with. They could have been a little more careful with the actual instalation but I feel that the overall purchase was of great value with minimal wait time.

These guys are wonderful quality. But not too good on the follow through. Which is too bad. It seemed to me that they do a lot of larger jobs so window replacement on a common house doesn't get the attention and quick response as it should. They were quite thorough coming out to measure at least 3 times to be sure they had everything right. If you can be patient and persistent they have great products. Also a decent assortment of high quality door knobs and cabinet hardware.
