Four years ago my husband and I decided we wanted to start trying to have a baby. I always had irregular cycles, so I already discussed with my doctor that once we were ready we were going to start fertility treatments. They prescribed Clomid for me and I took it for four months. I didn't respond well to it at all, then they began Gonal F injections which I did for 6 or 7cycles. I responded better, but never got pregnant.

So that was a year of trying this route, and I thought it was a lot of medicine and maybe my body needed a break. I took about three months off, then tried again, and went into my doctor for the usual round of tests to check my hormone levels, etc. to begin the process again. This time we got pregnant but we miscarried 3 times. I started to think this just wasn't the way to go.

What good fortune to hear about an acupuncturist ( Claudia Wolfe) who specialized in fertility! I called her and had a nice conversation over the phone, came in to meet her, decided right away I wanted to do acupuncture. She said she knew exactly what to do with me, and said I don't think it will be easy, but I think we can do it. So I went in for regular treatments, and after just three months I found out I was pregnant. My concerns were keeping the pregnancy of course, since we'd had so many miscarriages. Fortunately, now we have Rachel AND thanks to Claudia we now have a 2nd child!!!!

How cool is that!

Pros: Claudia Wolfe successed whereall other procedures failed

Cons: It's wasn't cheap, but then how better to spend our income!

Claudia is unethical. I went to her last year for fertility treatments and was told one price over the phone and when i had my consultation she upped the price. She then worked on me weekly for several months and then introduced herself to me as if we had never met. Do NOT believe a word she says. There is special place for people who take advantage of a person's desire to have a baby. Since I got away I've heard from several others who had similar experiences.

I stayed there for 7 months and there was no single treatment protocol that didn't fail. Besides that, it's not a real TCM place, because they do acupuncture, but Chinese herbs advertised on the web site are actually just expensive vitamins and supplements (mostly Standard Process) sold to customers in abundance. The acupuncture treatments are overpriced compared to other acupuncture clinics and seem to be of no effect. I didn't have a diagnosis stated to me even after 7 months and the points seem to be based just on a menstrual cycle day. You pay only for needle insertion, it's pain to get any tests done (I myself had the first test after about 4 months), and you have to pay separately for a consult if you want a reasonable talk. In other places, your health conditions and your chart are revisited every time you come to an acupuncture session (sitting next to a desk, not lying on a table). Claudia doesn't even have a desk for patients.

I myself got stuck there for so long time because Claudia is a great sales person and I kept extending the credit even though nothing gets done and she doesn't keep her promises what she was planning to do. Ironically enough, but I had to quit her treatments because I needed to treat my health conditions.

Pros: nice people, relaxing place

Cons: it's of zero value
