Windy City Pizza-BBQ

Other than eating in Chicago, this is the best pizza in the area. The deep is ridiculous and they have a hot sauce bar with over 100 different sauces.

When my brother used to live off of the camino real and Borel, we used to eat there and grab a couple of brewskis. Nice Chicago style pizza, cheesy bread and friendly staff, even if you stay awhile.

It's funny that this place is still called Windy City Pizza because we went to order the BBQ and no pizza at all!The BBQ is good when you are craving heavy BBQ sauce dipped ribs. Not the greatest quality of BBQ and the ribs themselves lack flavor, but the sauce helps. The Chicken was burnt but the sauce covered that up too.Next time, I'll try the pizza.

Windy City Chicago Style Pizza is consistently very good. All of their pizzas are great. You can really not enjoy a fast food chain store's pizza after eating here. There is really no comparison. Their BBQ is also great.

The pizza's taste says it all in the name! This place has probably my all time favorite pizzas! I would have to say the Ranch sauce with BBQ chicken is to die for. Something so obvious yet no pizza parlor has figured it out yet except Windy City.

This place has great pizza at an affordable price. My friends and I would go here before movies. It's great for big groups of rowdy teenagers. Obviously, they are known for their deep dish pizza, which is fabulous.

I have never had their ribs, but my friends have and said they were pretty good.

I used to live in San Mateo and would eat Windy City Pizza at least twice a month. I absolutely loved the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Just the thought of it makes me sad. Sad because I moved to the East Coast where pizza is a different species. Thin crust, little sauce, little cheese and limited toppings.

Nothing compares to Windy City Pizza.

Can you say Wow? I can. Whenever I go here for some of the best pizza in the entire peninsula I always leave saying wow that was amazing. Not only is the pizza first class but the barbecue ribs are some of the best I've tasted in my life. It's a great place for the whole family to enjoy some great food, relax, kick back and enjoy each others company for a great price.

I used to go here for lunch on occasion, and it's a pretty good place for it. For a respectable $6-7 you can get a lunch special, personal deep dish pizza with two toppings, a small side salad and a drink. And the pizza is good. Really thick, buttery crust, and a nicely tangy tomato sauce. Sometimes they skimp on the toppings a bit, but the flavors all combine to create a nice melody.

Their BBQ is pretty good too, their beef brisket sandwiches are a favorite of mine, although I always want more when I'm done. Seating is usually adequate, although they've got a nice big-screen TV there, and when the World Cup was on, the place got a bit crowded when the finals were showing.

Parking is plentiful (they're in a shopping plaza), and the interior is clean and appealing. Overall, a good place for lunch.

PROS: Deep dish pizza is yummy!
CONS: I could use bigger portions.

As the name suggests, Windy City serves a Chicago-style, deep dish pizza and they're good ones. There's also a good selection of beers on tap and in bottles; cider and wine, too. The place is decorated with Chicago-ana and is a family friendly place. They also serve good ribs and BBQ sandwiches as well. Conveniently located at 92 and El Camino with plenty of parking.

PROS: good deep dish pizza, family friendly, Guiness on tap!
