My cat was diagnosed as a diabetic about 1 1/2 years ago. I was not able to leave the vet's office for under $300. He always wanted to run lots of tests that I didn't feel were necessary, but was talked into having done. The insulin that he insisted was the best for her could only be purchased from a pharmacy in San Antonio, TX for $45 + Shipping.I recently took her to another vet, who was very nice and thorough and was only charged $73. The insulin she prescribed can be purchased over the counter at Walmart for $21.My kitty is happier and so is my bank account!

This hospital is very clean, and friendly! I brought my dog in for a procedure and they worked out a cost effective procedure, with out compromising her health and situation. They are VERY much on their game as far as explanation of the procedure and other off topic questions I had for them.

A+++ place.

Don't believe what bad reviewers say about places, just because they are bitter about not having their way. Pet Hosp of N.P. is a clean, professional place with friendly, helpful staff. And an honest, polite doctor (which is hard to find these days). He offers the best in medicine for your pet so you know what is available--- he is not "trying to sell you something". Just because not everyone who works there can remember every single client who comes through the door doesn't mean they won't treat your pet as if it's their own, which they do. So move on, bitter bats, make room for us appreciators. :P

Dr. Osawa seems to be a good vet, reasonable prices. However the staff couldn't care LESS! Arrived for appointment to an empty waiting room on time, 3 employees saw me with my dog, 20 minutes later they asked me who I was!!!!!!!! How stupid are they? especially since this was 3rd visit in 5 weeks. I walked out and will never go back.
