Hate good customer service? This is the place for you!

We had an awful experience at this dealership, and though we still need a car, we will no longer be shopping here. We test drove a couple of cars and agreed to purchase a used Saab they had on the lot. We went through my least favorite part of buying a car, sitting down at the table and agreeing on a price and filling out all of the paper work. Yes! We were the excited new owners of a shiny sweet car.

Then we see a woman drive off the lot in the car we just agreed to purchase!

Apparently the car was also being looked at by one of "the owner's friends", and they let her take it home for the weekend (after we agreed to buy it). We were quite upset and collected our items and left. Our salesman said that they would get back to me the following Monday and let me know what was going on with the car. Have I heard from them a week later? NO. The day after this incident I did get a standard courtesy call from the dealership, when I told him what happened he said "let me look into this and get back to you". Did I ever get a call back? NO. No apologies, no attempts to fix the situation, no response at all.

Summarily, this dealership may be fine until there is any kind of a problem. Then they will ignore and alienate you.

Great Dealership! The minute I arrived I was greeted with the upmost respect. I was offered popcorn and water and respectfully said no thank you. It was a busy day for Groove but they were able to assist me with finding the correct vehicle and equipment and taking care of the paperwork in an efficient and appropriate manner. I would come back to buy another car if I were to buy another vehicle. I recommend this dealership. Kudos to Groove! :)

DON'T BE FOOLED!!! Do not work with their online staff!!! DO NOT work with any Sales Staff starting with "Steve Lucas". The guy met me at the dealership, but even his own LOT STAFF did not know who he was. More, the schmuck couldn't even get the right keys to the car I had emailed him about for 3 weeks STRAIGHT.
THEN... I finally get around to buying the car I saw online... and the entire sales team (Steve L., the finance team, and the lot team) watch me drive away with the WRONG CAR. I'm telling you.... 3 WEEKS of corresponding with these yahoos resulted in the WRONG VIN# CAR. Then I get a letter telling me about THEIR BAD... I'm in the WRONG CAR??? Leading to $300.00 in Denver "expired temp license plates" tix.
DON'T let this be you. DON'T buy from Steve Lucas. DON'T go the groove dealership on SOUTH BROADWAY.
READ THIS REVIEW.... and don't be that guy. Don't get rolled by a unprofessional dealership. Seriously. You don't want the headaches I've got from buying from these guys 8 MONTHS AGO!!

I traded in my old Subaru for a new Outback. It was a easy no pressure laid back environment. They gave me the full value for my trade and showed me all the numbers for my new Outback. There was some negotiations involved but I was pleased with the overall professional demeanor of the salesman and the managers. I would recommend buying a Subaru from them. Great job!

We went in to see if we were ready to trade our Mini Cooper S for an Outback as we have left the city for the Rocky Mountains. Tom Kim was there to guide us through the entire process and was extremely professional and courteous. I have never dealt with a dealership that not only honored all of their spoken policies, but were obviously comitted to making sure that we were 100% satisfied. and we are. We started out with a 2008 but ended up getting a 2011, and we love it. Mike, the Finance Manager, was great to deal with and managed to get us an awesome rate. Jeff, the Sales Manager, was very helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed. We are looking forward to many years with this new car and plan to have our service done there. When we buy our second car, we're definitely calling Tom Kim to set us up. It's Subaru all the way while we're in CO

Great no hassle service. Wonderful selection of the make that I have cherished for so long. The Outback that I still have is still great.

Not impressed. They want to sell you a "no haggle" new subaru at sticker price and get your trade-in for less than blue book. Win-win for them but not the customer. I'll shop around.

This place is terrible. They do not actually provide you with a complete contract for their service contracts. The cancellation page seems to be mysteriously missing. My lawsuit will ensue shortly.
Even better then the fact that they do not disclose all matters of contractual arrangement, after having our car repaired. We found that they had dented the rear quarter panel. Their excuse was that the car was dirty and they did not see the ding. This implicitly accused me of lying.

Do not go there, buy, or help in anyway.

I have been going to Burt Subaru for service since 2002. I have always been incredibly happy and trusting of the service I received...but then again my car was still under warranty. these past two visits have me swearing off dealer service shops and definiltey not visiting Groove for my next Subaru purchase. For my last visit we had an 8:30 appt for them to check out a noise my car had been making. they promised it would be a quick turnaround. After 1 hour with the car they came out telling me I needed two new DOJ axel boots since they were cracked and also that one of my pulleys on the drive belt was bad. Mind you while my car was under warranty i had asked that they replace BOTH pulleys so was shocked to hear that one was bad. Turns out they only replaced one before so now they were asking for $215 to go back in and what they choose not to do before. They were also asking $490 for the DOJ axel boots. Needless to say, I ran out of there, but not for another 1 hour while they pulled my car around and charged me $50. I then decided to take my car to Strictly Automotive based on reviews from CarTalk. They looked under the hood and pulled apart the pulleys and found that both of them looked NEW and when it came to the boots, it wasn't the DOJ boots, it was the steering column boot and only one, which they replaced for $175...a far cry from $490. The car is no longer making the noise, my checkbook is relatively full and I will never ever visit Groove Subaru again.

Awful prices, We have had our 2000 outback serviced at (Burt) since it was new. The last oil change, yes I said oil change, went from $36.21 to $50.74!!! after groove bought the place. When I received the bill I was really P.O. I guess Groove jacked up the price so the sales people can still get paid for standing around. Look for someplace else for an oil change.

Should be called "GOUGE" automotive!! These guys are nothing more than your typical slimy car sales people. They have what they call a price match guarantee, this means when you find out they are ripping you off on a price they will ask you to jump through a thousand hoops so they can give you the same price a more reputable dealership was going to give you in the first place. This is assuming you are able to jump through all the hoops. Don??t waste your time on these unethical business people, just go to any other dealership and you will find more honesty and ethics.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Upon taking my Subaru in for it's 120K chkup, my car was returned with the mirror "bubbled" and a light out on the dash! I explained the car was not dropped off in this state and I wanted them to fix it since it happened on their "clock". Best offer I received was a 10% discount since they claim the service provided had no effect on those two items. Well, I have no idea what goes on in the shop and the point is, it unfortunately, occurred while in their possession so they are responsible for whatever happens regardless if their service has an effect or not. Too bad they are not willing to replace a $250 mirror cause they just lost the sale of my next $25,000 car! I have been a long-time Burt customer, but no more since Groove cannot do right by their customers.

I wish I read these reviews before I took my car to this place!! Lets start in the summer Aug 08. I took my car in for a service and was told my WRX needed a radiator. They replaced the radiator and when I drove 3 miles down the road my engine red lined and overheated!!! I called Burt Subaru and told them I was right down the road. They told me to call a tow and if it was their fault they would reimburse for the tow. Now the only people tampering with my engine was Burt Subaru so whose fault do you think it was. The problem you ask??? They did not hook the hose back to the radiator!!! I was beside myself!!

So here I am again. I took my car in to get new breaks and a fuel smell checked out. They said I needed a new fuel rod. I figure what are the odds they can mess my car up again. So I agree to the repairs. After getting my car and driving it 50 miles the engine starts shaking really bad. I pull over and same thing I call Burt Subaru and tell them my car is broke down again. They open their dumb mouths and tell me they will only reimburse me for the tow if they are responsible!!! DO YA THINK???!!!

This time they tell me they dropped something down the spark plug hole!!! Did your jaw drop?? I know mine did!! They tell me just some valves are bent!! Their incompetence destroyed my engine.

Go else anywhere but here!!

We took our Subaru Legacy to Burt Subaru for repairs, and are as disappointed as possible with their service. They were condescending and rude, charged us an exorbitant amount of money and didn't even fix our issue. When another mechanic diagnosed what Burt had missed, he claimed incompetence on the part of Burt's mechanics. When we brought the issue up with Burt's service manager he did not care that his mechanics had made a mistake that led to a more serious problem. Terrible, terrible, service. I can't give them a low enough rating. I would not send my worst enemy there. Go anywhere but here if you value decent service. This experience was shocking.

I'm always sceptical about auto repairs. When realizing my brakes were probably not safe any longer, I took the car in. Not only did I get new brake pads, they turned the rotors for free.
