I had heard good things about this place, so my family and I decided to check it out. We were greeted by a girl who looked like she would rather be anywhere else, and acted that way too. We loved the prices, but when we got home and ate the food, let's just say it tasted as cheap as it was. The only upside were the brownies. They were doughie and very, very good. Overall, a bad experience. But I will be going back for those brownies. :-)

I regularly eat at the Cici's on Hampden. Steve the manager is a hard worker and keeps his place clean. Unfortunately on 5/19, Steve was not working. The manager of the day was quite rude when we asked if she was going to make more pizza. It was 2:30 pm, well after lunch hour. Pizza choices were few, old and cold. The place was filthy. Spilled soda on several places on the floor and in one case on the booths. The salad bar was old and limited. Tables were dirty even after a worker quickly swiped them with a wet cloth. There were only three customers during our hour stay. Plenty of time and no one busy so they could have cleaned up the place. The manager seemed more interested in socializing with her help then trying to work. She seemed quite perplexed when we asked for her help. That was at 2:30 pm on 5/19 for those interested on who was in charge.

I decided after seeing the ever so tempting commercials to try CiCi's for the first time. I was greeted with a friendly staff and it smelled good. After I paid I was handed a cup which was not clean so I asked for a paper cup instead. As I walked around the register to the dining room, 50% of the tables were with plates and half eaten food. No one had cleaned the tables; however, everyone was very busy cleaning the floors and behind the food counter. A bit backwards but nothing to complain about. As I analyzed everything I told my son I was going to write a nice review of the place and the customer service which was awesome, until......a group of teenage boys and girls walked in the restaurant. They were in their street clothes and I don't believe they were employees. They were given flat pizza boxes wrapped in plastic and they all crowded around my booth and began ripping them open and folding them. They were loud and one began coughing uncontrollably without covering his mouth. He just continued to fold the boxes. The girls were standing around also...a total of about 8. I got up and had to make my way through them to get to what I believe was the manager who was standing behind the counter and I asked her if she could ask them to move elsewhere to fold the boxes. She agreed and asked them to relocate their project. All of them complied but one who lingered for a bit ( the cougher) He began coughing again and never covered his mouth and at one point slober fell from his mouth onto the box he was folding which he continued to fold, close and stack with the rest. I was so disgusted that I could not eat any more and my son and I packed up and prepared to leave.
