1-800 Flowers never delivered my SAME DAY DELIVERY flowers, NEVER! They lost my order, kept me on hold, and charged me for the entire order! If you want your order to arrive on time and in perfect form do NOT order from 1800 Flowers...They are GARBAGE!

I just ordered flowers for St. Patrick's Day to be delivered 'back East' on the 17th. I have used Veldkamp's almost exclusively for all my personal flower and plant orders since I moved here in 1981 and I have used them occasionally for business as well. They have never missed a delivery time or location in Denver or elsewhere and always have treated me fairly on the billings. It has been great to be able to rely upon them.

I ordered an orchid to be delivered on my sister in law's birthday. The orchid was never delivered. I called and emailed Veldkamps and never received a reply or an apology. I live in Washington state and it is frustrating to have such a bad experience.

I ordered an arrangement on a Fri. to be delivered on Sat. NO LATER THAN 1:00.
They promised NO PROBLEM. Not cheap; 69.99 ended up 89.00 with delivery.
Never got there. Seems the driver was given the wrong arrangement, and was heading back to the store to get the right one - at 2;30.
STILL waiting for my credit.

I called and asked if they could deliver same day by 2. Lady on the phone said no problem. Flowers arrived at 6:14, over 4 hours late and screwed up the suprise I had planned.
When I called they told me they would have never committed to that time. The only thing they would do is offer me a 10% discount on next purchase. I asked for a quote on a dozen roses for Vday. They quoted me a price 20% above what they were offering on their web site. Next time I order from them call me STUPID.

My boyfriend bought me flowers earlier this year from this place and they were late with the order. It came a day late and they did not offer a discount for the purchase. They also did not call and tell us it was going to be late and left us wondering what happened with the order. The only thing they offered was a small discount off the next purchase.
