Worst Customer Service ever... BE WARNED OF THEIR NO REFUND POLICY that they do not inform you of!
We purchased a remote start and showed Ian (Highlands Ranch location) a remote (2-way) that we have from another car and explained that we wanted it to lock, unlock, and remote start my wifes car for a Christmas present. He handed us a Viper unit and said this is what you need. I told him we would be back to purchase another unit for our daughter-in-law's car.
My wife and I went back to the same location a couple of days later and Ian waited on us yet again, this time he was more concerned about answering the telephone than waiting on a customer standing in front of him. He answered the first call call, then went to get the unit we told him we wanted to purchase and while he was getting the unit, the phone rang and he stopped and proceeded to answer 3 more calls while ignoring a paying customer standing right there in front of him! Needless to say 10-minutes later, after he proceeded to answer the 5th phone call, we'd had enough and left the store and went to Drive-In Auto and purchased it from them and Patrick at Drive-In Auto Sound was wonderful!
Well today, we went to their Littleton location to have the 2-way unit installed to only learn that it only starts and unlocks the car and doesn't lock the car as we'd asked. We then learned the only way to unlock the car was to start it first... This is not what we explained to Ian that we'd wanted. The sales person at the Littleton location told us that we'd have to go back to the original store we purchased the device from to receive a refund. We quickly learned that he had lied to us... continue reading...
We drove back to the Highlands Ranch location to be met by Ian and when I explained that I needed to return the unit, did he inform me that there is a NO REFUND policy. He stated (snotty I might add) that it is written on your receipt.
So let's get this right - you are not informed of their "NO RETURN" policy until AFTER you've made the purchase? And then only if you "spot it" on the receipt...?
I then asked to speak to the Manager since he mislead this unit to me as performing what I'd asked and he said I am the Manager, having his business card is hand I reminded him that his card said "Assistant Manager" and he said well I'm the Sales Manager. I asked again to speak to the Store Manager and he said, "he's busy and you will have to come back". Seeing another person waiting on another customer, I asked him, is that your Manager and he regretfully responded "yes". I ended up speaking to the Store Manager Martin and still couldn't get my money back and had to purchase an upgraded unit in order to get it to do what I'd originally asked for - at an additional price I might add...
When I explained to Martin that we'd already left the store once previously due to Ian being more concerned with answering the phone than waiting on a paying customer, he didn't show any concern and said that his policy is to answer all calls by the 3rd ring. I reminded Martin that there is a balance between waiting on the customer in front of you that you already know is there to make a purchase and one on the phone asking questions and that after 5-calls...
After this continued abysmal experience, we will never purchase anything there and will advise everyone and anyone we know not to purchase anything there ever!
