This is a fabulous activity for families. It's inexpensive and will keep the kids and adults happy. Go in early fall, when it is absolutely gorgeous in Colorado. Take a ride on the train...so fun!

This is an attraction that is up in the mountains by way of 285. It can be hard to find, and a bit of a drive. The kids think it is fun, but it is more of a one-time thing. Not something that they would want to go back to again and again.

I remember going to Tiny Town as a child. I love it even more as an adult seeing my kids enjoy it. Tiny Town has done alot of work and restoration to the little buildings. My kids also love riding the miniature steam engine train and they have a great gift shop. The playground is an added bonus for kids to run off extra energy. Best for ages under 12.

Tiny Town is a tourist attraction about 10 miles out of the city along highway 285. It was created in 1915 and has a small scale steam locomotive that drives through a 1/6 scale town, a small restaurant and a gift shop. It's open daily from memorial day to labor day. It's good for a couple hours of fun out of the heat of the city. The kids love looking into the small buildings and playing in the playground.
