Trade home is a local shoe store in my home town, Edmond Oklahoma. After purchasing a pair of moccasins for my girlfriend, I quickly noticed that I had acquired TWO left shoes, and both varying in sizes (size 6, and size 9). Granite that is something a consumer normally looks at before taking home the product... I was still disappointed it was looked past in the store the day of my purchase. After a couple of days I found time to drive back up to the mall and try to receive the correct right shoe from them. Sadly to say, the size 6 right shoe and the size 9 right shoe had been obviously given to someone else, for the stores second screw up on the same pair of shoes. The gentlemen in the store were very kind in apologizing for the mishaps and assured me that they would find the right pair for us, and if not, that I would be contacted and made aware of any other situations that could have been occurring. After two weeks, (they are open 7 days a week) I finally received a phone call, regrettably they informed they had tracked down the shoes only to be the wrong color. For there 2nd screw up on the one purchase. I then told them to keep the two wrong shoes I had in their store and that I expected a call soon for any more information on the correct whereabouts of the shoes we wanted. I purchased them first of December for Christmas, received the call about the wrong shoes around middle of december, and had yet to here ANYTHING from them up until today, January 23, 2011 when finally I was tired of waiting and decided to make the drive back up there either to receive the shoes or some sort of compensation for their lack of business ethics towards me. Sadly, once again, I received nothing from them except my money back and the motto that "you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes" from one of there employees. I guess that means sometimes you don't have to show respect to customers? All in all, 2 months went by and now it's as if the situation never happened in the first place. This is not how you run a business, and If i could give stars for how many lies one company could give you over one purchase (Both times I went in I received stories with many holes that in the end had no explanation of there mistakes, mostly emphasizing on there lack of communicating with me) , this rating would have been five stars. I sadly want to inform all of you to NEVER purchase anything that trade home has to offer. Drive across the highway to metro shoe and be treated with the upmost respect a customer should be handled with in the first place.

This is a great shoe store! I have bought six pairs of shoes here over the past four years and will drive up again from Denver for my next pair! They have an incredible selection of athletic and outdoor footwear(and they always have my size -others don't!). They also have casual and dress shoes. They have great prices and I have been able to find as good as Amazon or EBay prices here. The staff is really good and are helpful but are NOT pushy. I hate shopping because of sales people - but I love shopping here! I would definitely recommend them!

I'm torn between 2 stars and 3 stars for Tradehome Shoes. They carry nice shoes and when they have them on sale or clearence the prices are good too. The problem is their pushy sales staff. They are like sharks waiting for any potential customer to look their way so that they can latch on to you. They ask you tons of questions even after you tell them that you are just looking. It's just not worth the hassel because you can find the same shoes elsewhere in the mall without the nagging.
