it is a nice course but is way too expensive for me to play more than once a summer. To me, it isn't worth. The course is always booked during the summer. The last time I went, I got a nice deal from golfnow.com as a single reservation, bringing the green fee down to 70. Normally, it's about 150, I believe

Just spent the week-end at the Omni and loved it! We stay here when we need a night away from our stress. This week-end the N.O. Saints football team was also staying at the hotel so it was a little crazier then usual but we still had a great time. Room service is my favorite but the Tap Room is great fun as well. I spent most of the day at the spa and was ready to come home to my life.
Pros: The mountian views, pool and hot tub, the spa
Cons: Can't think of any
After golfing at Omni Interlocken my perception of golf has changed. I grew up on the great plains of Kansas and we didn't have much and far as golf courses are concearned. I've played on it all, from cement greens to dirt fairways. My first experience on the Interlocken was great although it was an immature golf course. I could tell the superintendent loved his job because he was very good at it. All the greens, fairways, tees, collars, and approaches were very well manicured. The staff very well at work, but at the same time out of site. I received great service at the pro-shop and enjoyed a fast tasty lunch.
Pros: challenging greens, excellent staff, wide hole variation
Cons: drainage problem, no tree cover, affilliated w/ hotel
Very lovely course with fabulous views and a superb staff and clubhouse. Well worth the trip.
Pros: beautiful, challenging, friendly
Cons: planes are noisy
Yeah the service is friendly. But 100 plus it should be. The course can be challenging but then again any course is challenging when you slice. Bring a couple extra sleeves, some better deals can be found
