Marina gave me a terrible haircut. It looks like a "butch" so short that my bangs will not lay down; stands up like a little boy's cow lick. I told Marina that I wanted it medium in length, middle of the ear. If she had cut it any shorter she would have had to shave the head. Beware of Marina and her sissors!

I went in here to get my hair highlighted on 5/26/09. Figured it would be fast, easy, & convenient since it is right up the street from me. The stylist, Mariana, failed to bleach out my hair first which resulted in zero highlights. I even asked her if she was going to bleach it, since my hair is naturally dark. She said she didn't need to. She is the professional, so I trusted her judgement. After she rinsed my hair out, I saw no highlights through the wet hair. I asked her if we could blow it dry so I could see if there were any changes. She said she couldn't blow dry it without charging more. I was upset that after seeing that I wasn't satisfied, & questioning the result of the service that she wouldn't just dry my hair. So, I went home to dry it myself. There were no highlights. I called them the next day (Sunday) to talk to a manager about this & was informed that the manager would not be in until the following Wednesday. I asked the person on the phone if they had a refund policy. She said that they definitely do. That if you are not satisfied with your hair cut/color, you may get a refund within 7 days of service. I called back on Wednesday morning & was informed that the manager was still not in, but the assistant manager, Jessica, was. I spoke to her & she confirmed the refund policy to me, but said that she would have to inform the owner, Lisabeth Jui, first before I can go in for my refund. I recieved a call from Ms. Jui. She asked me to go into the store to have Jessica take a look at my hair before giving the refund. I went back in to have Jessica look at my hair & was told that Ms. Jui would send a $40 refund in the mail. I have recieved nothing & have left several messages for Ms Jui, but she is not returning my calls... They've been reported to the BBB.

My two daughters and I got our haircut here last week, and I was very unimpressed with the service. My youngest tried to tell the stylist what she wanted (my hair was being cut at the same time as hers, so I couldn't intervene), but the stylist didn't listen. When we were done, my daughter told me what she had asked for, which was nothing like the cut she got. When I asked that it be done right, the stylist got very snippy with me and said, "that's not what she said she wanted!" We ended up with OK haircuts, but a bad taste in our mouth from the way we were treated.

We took our three kids in for haircuts. After specifically telling one stylist not to layer my daughter's hair she did just that. Our son ended up with a cut from the scissors on his neck. This establishment did not take the time to provide quality service.
