Both of our children attended Iliff from the time they were a year old until they graduated from Kindergarten in the airplane out back! This is a family run establishment that is both very professional and also very warm. My kids loved their teachers each year and made life-long friends at Iliff. They were nurtured and also beautifully prepared for 1st grade. I highly recommend Iliff and thank my lucky stars we found them for our children.

We've experienced Iliff both as a summer camp for our older boy, and as a preschool for our younger boy. We were very pleased with their performance in both areas. Although the camp accommodates ages up to 14, be warned that the VAST majority of the kids are 5-7 years old. If you register your 9-year-old, s/he'll be the oldest kid there. The summer of 2008 was fabulous for us - our son was 6 and the camp counselors were mostly energetic and athletic men who kept the kids very active all day. I especially love all the field trips the camp takes - at least three times every week to go bowling or swimming or even ice-sledding down Ruby Hill! The summer of 2009 was less successful for us - all but one male counselor were replaced with women who didn't keep the kids moving nearly as much, and my son was 7 (older for the group) and less engaged.

The preschool was good - the teachers were engaged and prepared and very genuinely caring. My younger son had a good academic start there. Both the camp and the preschool take advantage of the FABULOUS playground behind the school. It's a wonder, what they've done back there!

We were very pleased with Iliff preschool. They are always open, reliable and have chosen a lovely staff. Our son loved it and we were very comfortable with his care and learning.
