Schmidt's Bakery & Deli

My family goes to breakfast often at Schmidt's. We love the occasional live piano music, and the friendly waiting staff. The food is great, and if we don't care for something, they are happy to exchange or make it right. We've also been having our evenings CCU meetings in the back room for over a year, and they are very accommodating with a tasty shorter, but excellent menu. Thank you, Schmidt's for the down-home atmosphere and great service for our needs!

Went for lunch 4/5/09 about 1:00. They were not busy. Waited about 6 min to get seated. Waited another 10 min to have the waitress stop. The meal was very good. Picked up a German chocolate brownie to take home. It was dry and very hard. Very disappointed. Most likely won't go back. Too bad when economic times are bad.

I ordered my wedding cake at Schmidts. They were so helpful to us when we were picking it out, very personal service, not to mention the cake! I think that out of everything, I got the most compliments about the yummy cake! Beautiful presentation and superior quality. My sister had to grab me a piece it went so fast! Thank you Schmidt's!

This is a great place, the kids love it as well they have wagons to use to pull the kids around. The best cookies, cakes, etc around.. Highly recommend the german sausages and sauerkraut.

PROS: very friendly people & great food
CONS: prices a little high but worth it, coffee is just ok.

This is the place for any of your bakery needs. They make awesome cakes including wedding cakes. The quality is unmatched in this area. The bakery always has tons of pastries, pies, cakes, and other goodies to buy as well. They sell fresh bread too. The deli side has every type of german meat, cheese, and salad you could want along with other German groceries. They sell beautiful Amish furniture and crafts. Last but not least, you can stop by their restaurant for breakfast or lunch while you're there!!!
