Last week I ordered a calzone from the Barnes location to be delivered and when I opened the box, the calzone was split in two and all of the fillings were in the box instead of in the calzone crust. Also, the garlic knots that I ordered were doughy and undercooked. I sent an email to the email address they have listed on their website for comments/complaints (webmaster@borriellobrothers.com) and attached a picture of my deflated calzone, but never received any type of response. Very disappointed considering how much my order cost. The lack of caring that they effed up my order determined that I'll never eat at any Borriello Brothers again.

Anyone who wrote a bad review must have deserved the service they received. I love this place and the people I have interacted with were always friendly and professional.

If you want a manager to say F**K YOU and that you are a BITCH go to Borriello Brothers New York Pizza. These are the most uncouth people I have ever met. Better off at Papa Murphy's or Domino's the management won't even give you a call

I worked at the downtown location for about 3 months as a delivery driver. It was one of the few jobs that I took where I wanted to quit after the first day because of the way I was treated. The people who run the place don't care about employees or customers. They think that they are just the greatest so they don't need to be nice to anyone. I heard the manager lie to customers on numerous occasions when the service was bad (the driver had a flat tire). It is no surprise to me when I read bad reviews of their service. Often times we would get a lot of delivery orders come in at once and I was the only driver. Of course orders would be late. The phone lines were bad making it very difficult to take orders. Often I would have a wrong phone number so if there was any problem getting the order to the customer I was unable to call them. I delivered food for six years for another place before I worked for Borriello Brothers so I know how to do deliveries. These people just don't care and they just don't get it.

Pros: Decent pizza

Cons: Everyting else

After a long day and not wanting to cook, these are the guys to call . Portions are large and the toppings are very generous . But the taste is a cut above everybody else . I highly recommend!

I'm from back east and the pizza here is great, just like the kind I grew up with. I noticed one or two reviews that said the pizza was so-so. These people are accustomed to conveyor-belt pizza and probably have no idea what a real pizza is supposed to taste like. This is the best pie in town, hands down. Delivery person was very friendly - great service.

I love this pizza, they finally opened one close to my house so I can get it delivered. My husband usually does not care for thin crust but he loves this pizza. I ordered eggplant and onions once and now its my favorite. Its so good, I could not wait to wake up and have it for breakfast. I love the crust too its just right not to thick so you are eating all these carbs. Delivery took 20 minutes too.

First off, I am writing this review for the new Boriello Bros. that opened up on the corner of powers and research. I took my family to go eat at this restaurant after reading reviews and getting some good word of mouth. This was BY FAR THE WORST pizza and service that I have received at any restaurant. I ordered a pizza with sausage, green peppers. In return, I received a pizza with mushrooms and black olives. I went to the counter and told the kid about it (seems that they're all stoners that work there) and at first refused to believe me. Why would i lie???? After they remade the pizza it tasted worse. Frankly, I prefer Papa John's over this overrated pizza

Who would've thought you could get something this authentic! Real N Y Pizza here in the Springs. I have tried all their locations and they never fail to deliver an awesome product, hot tasty, and memories of authentic N Y Pizza causes flashbacks when eaten. People say the staff is rude, but they aren?t. They're authentic New Yorkers which makes the place more realistic. If you've never been to New York then yeah they can appear rude and indifferent when they are actually warm and friendly.
I've tried a good bit of their different combos and every time it comes out perfectly. I've gone for the delivery option and it takes quite awhile to get there. It is usually hot but have had it luke warm when it arrived, not the best but still beats everyone else in town. Domino's claims to have an authentic NY Brooklyn Pizza. FUGETABOUTIT - It doesn?t hold a candle to the Brothers!

Best Pizza joint in town, never get my pie anywhere else. I have read another thread where someone was looking for a real Philly in the Springs, I got one for you. They are called Pikes Peak Treat and they are from Philly. They use to have a restaruant located in Woddland park but since has been sold and went under. The best Philly in town garunteed. I get one once a week. They now have a mobil unit and set up to do lunch at places throughout town, want one? Call them to see where they will be next, 719-231-7233. His name is Bob. Enjoy.

i would like to say that the borriello brothers pizza on 8th street needs more customer service training,,because, I waited 10 mins on hold just to talk with someone, then ordered,,,order wasn't in the bag,,,,,i would not recommend this kind of service,,,,,,,,,,

We used to order pizza from the Platte Borriello Brothers location and were excited to see one open in the Fountain/Security area since it has been our family's favorite for years. How WRONG we were. We gave the Fountain location MANY times to get it right but their pizza is just not nearly as good. Be careful of the delivery ... it will be cold, soggy, and squished in a heap if they even end up delivering it at all. After our last order ... and believe me ... OUR LAST EVER order... it took 90 minutes and it never showed up. Upon calling we were greeted with an apologetic delivery boy who claimed he got lost (but didn't bother to call) and then were transferred to an extremely arrogant rude manager named Bill who argued with me about the order and directions and said they called (which they didn't) and when I told him I would have appreciated a call if they had delivery problems and that I no longer wanted the pizza anyway he said that's good and that they'll survive without my business. They never even tried to make it right. Well that might be the case...but hopefully word will get around about how poor this business, management, food quality and customer service is. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!!

I'm from the east coast. Pennsylvania to be more exact and the biggest thing I miss is the food. Icy Tea, Cheese steaks, and pizza. I discovered Boriello Bro's pizza a couple years back while driving downtown and I have been a loyal customer ever since. Sure it may take a while to get your pie, but who wants some cold slice that has been under a heat lamp all day. Real Italians working there as well, or at least down town. Colorado is lacking true mom and pop italian cuizine and this place is the real deal. I love it. If you like quick, horrible tasting pizza, call dominos. Boriello Bro's is authentic and makes me feel at home. And another thing is they have Sicilian style. Most Coloradans don't even know what that is. Now all I need to find is a real cheese steak joint cause taste of Philly isn't it, either is Trivelli's. Real East coast folks know what I mean. Plus the try to rob you on the tastykake hook up. I recommend downtown store as the one in fountain is not fully up to par, due to the lack of skilled pizza tossers, the downside to any mom and pop shop who has to expand due to demand.

Pizza was an hour and a half delivery time. Pizza was cold and sucked. Driver told me that he was given 6 pizzas to deliver and that was why it was late. Sounds like poor management to me. I won't be back and don't recomment Borriello Brothers in Fountain to anyone.

My family is a $35-50 a week pizza delivery consumer. We were excited about boriello bros menu which is very diverse with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes and desserts for delivery.
We have ordered twice from the fountain/security store. The delivery is a problem. Our first order last wednesday was slower than their competition in arriving at just over an hour. The pizza was better than your average Domino's and the cannolli were pretty good. Ordered tonight (thursday) and was told that delivery would be 45/60 minutes. Called just before 90 minutes to check and was put on hold for 5-7 minutes after reciting my phone number. Manager picked up and advised that my order was taken as a pick-up and not a delivery. Manager advised that my $36 order would be delivered free but would have to be re-cooked and would be "quite a while" before they could deliver it. I declined.

Hung up, ordered Papa Johns and had it in 35 minutes. Tipped well.

There are better pizzas in town - some of them delivered. I don't think this place is going to make it. Menu is great, prices are average, pizza is a little above average, customer service is poor.

If you ever have an opportunity to visit Colorado Springs you MUST eat at Borriello's! They are located downtown. If you like thin crust, this is the thinnest, tastiest pizza ever! If I could clone them I would move them here to Fayetteville!

We went out Friday night for a family dinner and there was a screaming 2 year old. He screamed for the whole 30 minutes we stood there! I asked the cashier to do something but she just smiled. I said if an adult was screaming in there they would do something! The popularity of the place has grown bigger than the room--they need to expand! Because they are so small, service it truely terrible and one would think they could afford enough cheese and red pepper shakers for the crowd. If you like a one topping pizza, it is truyly the best but if you like more than one topping it is soggy city.

From what i have tried the food at this restaurant is really good. The pizza is a little soggy but me and my friends got a free pie cause the first one they made for us had a hole in it, hahaha. SO sitting in the restaurant has really friendly service but over the phone asking for a delivery...fuhgettaboutit!!!! My apartment is not out in the boonies but by some twist of bad luck we are stuck too far north for the Fountain shop to deliver to and too far south for the downtown location to deliver to. Im only by Quail lake!!!! I got delivery once from the Fountain store but they said they dont usually deliver but would that day because it was so slow. When i got my order it was delicious but they also mispelled my last name into something really goofy and actually embarrasing. I hope the owner reads this so they can recoordinate their delivery area. We bought a house so if they cant deliver there then im gonna have to write em off for good. Oh, and i also noticed that the Military deal isnt really a deal at all, if you add up all the items on the deal they add up to what they would if you bought them separately. I guess they figure Military types don't do math.

My first experince with this place and I was appalled. When calling to place an order, I was rushed and hung up on before I was able to get a total or directions. Attempted again thinking there would be better customer service or some reconciliation for the previous experience but this place has made it very clear that they couldn't care less.

As a military family and former Northeastern, the first thing my family does when we move to a new city is look for the best restaurants. After months of searching for a good pizza, we found Borriello Bros. and I can honestly say this is the best pizza west of NYC. Besides my home phone number, Borriello Bros is the only phone number saved in my cell phone since I love to pick up a pie before coming home.

As I would walk down Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn NY, I would stop and buy a slice. By the time I finished eating that slice, I would arrive at the next pizza place and buy another slice. The pizza places were spaced out this way. I grew up tasting a lot of pizza. Franks Pizza was the best on the block (back in Brooklyn). Borriello Brothers is the best on the block (here in Colorado Springs).

Borriello Brothers is some of, if not the best pizza in the Springs. Its location is choice, next to a tattoo parlor, and it offers some some sick(which means good) italian cuisine. They have good calzones, excellent pizza, and the best knots I've ever had. They were the only knots I've ever had, come to think of it. The staff is great as well.
