I have eaten at this place many times and have enjoyed the food. Tonight was different though. They do not understand the concept of a gift card, even though they have no problem selling them. There was a coupon in a local paper and they told us that we could not combine that offer with the use of a gift card. HELLO?!?! McFly?!?!?! Do they not know that a gift card is as good as cash? Means someone paid for the value of that gift card and it is no different than using cash, check or credit card when paying a bill. Whoever the owner is needs to read up on the concept or stop selling gift cards. So, for $15 Mona Lisa chose to lose 2 repeat customers. Going to Melting Pot from now on for my fondue.

I had a wonderful experience at the Mona Lisa! The atmosphere is wonderful and unique. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Our server was great! After having a four course meal I was stuffed. The cheese that I had was a Brie

our waiter was absent through most of our meal. We were so jealous of the table next to us, their waitress was amazing. Then, the cheese was not hot enough, also we had to grill our food. how is it fondue? i recommend Melting Pot.

Pros: athmosphere and wine

Cons: yucky fondue

Mone Lisa is a great date place, wouldn't bring along the kids though. The variety of food and the fondue offerings are so incredibly yummy. Don't forget about the dessert too.

if you love a quaint local place, like fondue, and want to have a wonderful meal, Mona Lisa's is your place. It is great for that special occasion (many little private rooms), or even just out to have a relaxing dinner. The wine cellar is also great for a flight of wines and maybe just the cheese or chocolate fondue.

Was disappointed that we were seated on the second floor...felt like they had the air conditioning on too high....hostess was rude to the other couple that we had dinner with, they were late but, that doesn't mean you should be rude to paying customers!! Seemed a little overpriced for small portions of food. Like the other fondue place better (Melting...)...willing to try one more time (not on a holiday) though.

Pros: Good wait staff

Cons: Overpriced

I like to make judgements on a cost/reward basis which balances out the relationship. Mona Lisa is in a cozy, well appointed turn-of- the- century home and is very welcoming. Its three price fare from upper $38 to upper $48 per plate is at the upper end of the local scale but not at the top but for that price I would expect most of the food to be of high quality. Its fondue accent is a novelty and without that the experience fails. All of the portions are small and many and of themselves there is nothing that excels. They are rescued by the dominating fondue. Where restaurant food cost is typically 35-40% of cost this menu could not exceed 25% and that speaks for itself. The tab for three including one glass of wine for one person and a 20% tip and tax totaled $145 for three. I did not come away with that "satisfied' feeling of good value and experience. I would not return.

Although the fondue experience was fun, having to self-cook an entree for 6 people was too much to ask of someone paying $47.00 per person + extra $$ for EVERYTHING, it seemed. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia, and thought this restaurant would be a fun change on vacation in Colorado Springs, but overall I didn't think the experience was a good value. On top of everything else, the restaurant overcharged us by $117, and only realized their mistake when I pointed it out to the manager! Our bill for 6 people was $341.00, and there was no alcohol or even soft drinks consumed. This cost represented the food cost and 20% tip only(required for parties of 6 or more).

This restaurant offers a fondue menu. We had an appetizer, salad, the entree, and dessert. By the time we got to dessert, I was stuffed. The appetizer was fondue as well as the dessert. The entree is served as a "cook-your-own" at the table. The restaurant is located in a house, so the rooms are small and fairly intimate. There was one other couple in the room with us and there were only 2 other tables in that room. They do have a website where you can review the full menu. Reservations are a must.
