Ratings_icons Slv Superbowl is not for family and good people

Donna M.

my children and I were everyday patrons of this place until they let some family open a diner in the building . well the people that run the diner have threatened our lives and harassed us every day since they have been there. They are rude and the manager does not care about the customers , he does what the diner family wants him to do . My family and my friends will never patronize this business again. I did write a letter to all the owners and have heard nothing back .

The manager, Kennith Freeman, seems too shady a character. Three employees seem to switch off shifts, and two of them, elderly men in their late 50s or 60s stay put while the third, usually a young man, can be replaced. In the fall of 2008 and most of the early 2009 season there was a young man working at the desk who was very friendly, kind, fun and watchful. He worked very hard, responded to each and every problem without hesitation, and made the place feel like a welcome atmosphere. It was the first time I had felt comfortable in the bowling alley in a long time. My family and I began frequenting the lanes in that time period. As of late (March 11th being the last time I was in the place) it seems this young man, whom most people called simply "Joe" was replaced by another. The day that my family and I found this out, we were very saddened. For whatever reason they decided to get rid of Joe, I hope he does well in the world and that many more people have the opportunity of meeting this wonderful character. The building conditions are old, and roof damage is apparent. The inside is nice, but does not seem to fit in modern times as much as the late 70s or early 80s. The lane conditions seem to vary. There used to be a great house-shot pattern of oil but now it feels mixed. There is now a very nice little diner in the building called Star's. Starla, the owner and cook, is a very welcoming, very lovely woman. She is sometimes aided by her young son and daughter. They seemed to have a family connection with Joe. But, they keep the place feeling warm and cozy.
