I didn't shop Nordstrom until I moved to Colorado because we did not have this store out east in NY but I have learned to shop here. The selection is better at Park Meadows because as one store clerk told me, there is just not a market in Broomfield for some of the higher end merchandise. Most of the more expensive things are kind of frumpy or old ladyish (think St. John) or pricey lines of t-shirts (like theory and juicy couture). Wish they had more clothes for stylish metropolitan 30 somethings who are not ready to wear Eileen Fisher yet.
But the main point is that you really get accosted by the store clerks when you go there in women's clothing. You are forced to say hello 10 or 15 times to these clerks who will just not leave you alone. It gets really tiring when you are on number 7 or so. I even tried to ignore them because I just want to browse and shop without saying hello to every single person on the floor. I know...they are just doing their job but somehow if you go to Saks or Neiman's, not to mention Barney's they have perfected the art of not bothering you. I am not even in retail but I know that the customer will go to the clerk as long as they stay fairly close by if we have a question. I have even politely tried to tell them that 10 other people have asked me if I needed help but they don't get the message. So anyway, it makes it annoying to shop there and just makes me want to leave asap.

Pros: locations, return policy

Cons: annoying sales people. not much selection

Is actually the name of this store, and you can see RACK in big bold letters from the highway. You must go. You simply must. They have high-fashion, great-looking clothes at incredible prices. They have men's, women's, kids, shoes, you name it! I love this store!

For way too long, I avoided Nordstrom, believing that "my kind" wouldn't be welcome there. -In my mind, this was a store for people with money, who talked in faux Hamptons accents, with their lower jaws jutted out. How wrong was I?! Nordstrom offers a great selection of "regular" priced clothing, shoes, jewelry and cosmetics, in addition to its pricier and classier lines. No matter what you're buying, you'll get great service. Go to Nordstrom. You'll find something.
