The flea market is a nice place over all if you want to walk and listen to music and shop around. What is not nice is the attitude of the old nasty people who run the place they are mean and do not respect their clients who go and rent spaces from them. The only person who is nice and pleasent enough to talk to is the elderly guy who is inside pavillian on the weekends the rest forget it! For sellers this is a heads up for visitor this shouldnt affect your experience there.

This is a OK flea market... there is one big problem though. The rabid buyers are one thing, these jackasses knock over old ladies and kids to run in the gate on Sunday morning...you would think they were giving out free meth inside! The other more disturbing thing is the regular sellers running around from spot to spot grabbing anything worth buying and taking it back to their spot to sell at idiotic high prices. If you arrive after 8:00-8:30 forget finding anything interesting....this place is best for shoppers buying clothes, cooking implements, toiletries, etc.

But that is half the fun! The Colorado Springs Flea Market, in the peak season (summer) is HUGE! You can spend the whole day there, walking up and down the rows of goodies. They also have live bands playing near the food pavilion, little rides for children, including those blowup things they bounce in. There is something at the flea market for the entire family and it makes for a great weekend outing! Only a buck to get in and you can always get the free admission coupon out of the Gazette every week!

I LOVED visiting the flea market - meaning the individual sellers who have cleaned out their attic, basement, whatever and laid it out for me to browse. I DON'T like seeing all the dollar store crap some sellers set out. Literally - they must buy this stuff wholesale then then leave it all in the boxes and mark it $1.00 or what. If I want to browse a dollar store, I'll go to a dollar store. I don't want their cheap mass produced imports at the flea market of all places. Kinda NOT what folks go to see.
