My experience at Bea's was phenomenal. The staff was very accommodating and honest. They did not try to up-sell us on anything. I would definitely recommend them!

This was our first bridal appointment, which we made about a week in advance. It is a very small shop that can only hold 2 brides at one time. We arrived on time for our appointment only to be told that WE had cancelled our appointment.

This store basically ruined my wedding dress experience. Pretty much as soon as I walked in they pointed me to the clearance section. I chose a dress that was too small and they assured me that I could have a corset back added and switch out the strips of blue fabric for another color of my choice. My dress was only $300 so I thought I was going to get a great deal! WRONG. They pretty much tricked me into buying the dress and handed me a $900 bill for alterations AFTER I had purchased the dress! This just seems unethical to me...what they should have done is just be honest, the dress doesn't fit, it's a floor model so just don't buy it! If you're wondering I'm the only person who this has happened to? My soon-to-be sister-in-law just went to Bea's and chose a dress on clearance that doesn't fit and so they suggested adding a corset, I warned her against it.

Aside from the high cost of alterations I was determined to have a good experience and went in for 3 different fittings. The seamstress sent me to a very expensive bra shop in cherry creek and told me to buy a certain bra. When I tried the bra on it was really high in the back, and my dress was very low, so needless to say it wasn't going to work, so I just bought those bras that stick on your chest. The seamstress did not make a big deal about it and just fitted the dress with that bra. THEN when it came time to deliver my dress it came a day late because her sewing machine had broken. My mom opened the dress and took one look and it was obvious that it had not been pressed. When I had tried it on at my final fitting it looked fine standing still but on my wedding day the dress did NOT hold up. I was constantly pulling my dress up alllllll night loooooong. It kept slipping down in the back and gave me these really unattractive back boobs. I think it is the responsibility of the seamstress to make sure you look good and she totally failed. The bustles that she added also started to fail halfway through the night. In pictures of me standing still the dress looks ok but any action shots show how awful the dress was fitted. We think that Donna, the seamstress, never actually finished the dress because her machine malfunctioned, but she was never willing to admit that.

So about a month after my wedding I called Donna and told her how unhappy I was. She called me back the first time but then I spent the next seven or eight months trying to get some of my $900 back. If you pay for an expensive meal and it's terrible you shouldn't be charged, and that is how I felt about this situation. She said several times in emails that she would refund something like $100 (meager) and asked for my address at least 5 times. I finally gave up because I didn't want to keep thinking about how awful my wedding dress turned out.

They were nice at first but as soon as an issue popped up they were totally unwilling to help...I even called the shop to ask for help and all they did was tell Donna to call me. They took no responsibility and said I should have bought the bra they told me to buy, six inches of it would have been showing in the back!! Beware of Bea's, I'm not sure what they think customer service is supposed to be but I agree with the review that says that Bea would be appaled if she knew what her shop had turned into.

I wish I had gone to David's Bridal.

I bought my wedding dress here and had the subsequent fittings. They accidentally ordered the dress a size too big so they said they'd do the alterations for free. The dress never fit well and I was disappointed in it. Also, the staff was just ok, nothing special.

I just created a profile to write a review on my horrible experience at Beas Bridal Nook.....

I met my mom and one of my best friends and I was so excited to start my wedding dress shopping! This excitement was quickly squashed. I was running 10 minutes late because I was rushing from work, and my mom and friend arrived early. The associate snapped at my mom that she had another appoitment coming at the next hour. I am typically not a late person..and I felt terrible; however, when you're spedning 2,000 plus on dress you don't expect such rude comments.

The owner (Emmy) acted really irritated towards my mom when she asked for a drink of water. Most bridal places offer bottled water or champagne. She also snapped at my mom when she looked at a dress that appealed to her. She told my mom this dress was for someone else, and my mom wouldn't be able to look for this. That is fine, but anyone who is any good at customer service could offer alternatives to this dress.

Emmy also snapped when I told her I prefer straps vs. strapless. She simply came out and asked why I want straps. After going in the back to choose dresses for me, she rushed me through the whole process. I felt as though I was inconveniencing her...... I really ended up liking one of the the dresses and it was like she wasn't hearing me. She finally came out and said that she doesn't have anything for me, and that she'll have to contact me later. She made a half-attempt to gather my information, and then she rushed me out.

I had been to one other place, and my experience was wondeful. There were hugs, compliments, champagne offered, and lots of great service. I had a feeling Beas Bridal Nook wouldn't be for me when I went online to look up their phone number and saw all the bad reviews. Needless to say, it is not about drinks being offered and compliments; however, this experience is supposed to be special.

Maybe the owner was having a bad day, and I think the longer I was there she became a little warmer because she could see how horrified we were.

Save yourself a waste of trip, and choose one of the many other bridal experiences the Denver Metro area has to offer.

I was so excited to try on wedding dresses for the very first time! I chose Bea's because my mother, best friend, and several of my aunts bought there wedding gowns there. I even invited my future mother in law along to commemorate the experience.
I had an appointment and all seemed to be going according to plan. Until I mentioned that I didn't want a strapless gown.... You would have thought that I had asked for a nun's habit by their reaction. I am rather busty and I haven't been comfortable in a strapless gown since puberty, no matter how good the fit is. I was treated like a freak to be honest and after trying on a few dresses I was told that I should probably just go to another store.
Given my family history with this bridal boutique I was expecting the same treatment my mom, best friend and other family members received. I was disappointed with the poor selection, the poor service, and their poor attitude. This was not a great choice for a first time trying on gowns.

My daughter purchased her gown at Bea's. She loved the dress and was actually happy with the service leading up to her alterations. However, at her final fitting, the bodice of the dress didn't fit properly. The alterations person told her it needed pressing and was assured it would be fine. She picked the dress up from the store, the day before her wedding and it was all hung and bagged. I had told her to make sure she tried the dress on again before taking it from the store, but she was told by the salesperson that it would be a mistake to unbag it at that point. So, she didn't try the dress on again, until her wedding day. The bodice was horrible. It hadn't needed "pressing" at all, but more like 2 inches taken in. The dress had a princess bodice of horizontal pleats and they gapped and folded over at the top. The wedding took place and fortunately my daughter is not a bridezilla and proceeded to have a great day. The dress in pictures, looks quite untailered and the loose bodice with its huge gaping neckline is very apparent. After the wedding, I sent a picture of my daughter in the gown to the owner of Beas. I explained the problem and wanted her to know that while our "buying" experience had been ok, I was VERY displeased with their alterations. I gave my name, e-mail and phone number and never heard anything from them. An apology would have gone a long way. When you spend 2500. on a dress and then pay 350. more for alterations, I expect more than that. After seeing other people write reviews about poor customer service, I'd have to say that I would not recommend this store even though you'll find some designer lines there that you won't find in other Denver stores.

I've been to 4 or 5 shops already searching for my dress, and I must say, shopping here left me a bit upset and not very happy. The service was average, the dresses were average, nothing about my experience was enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the realization that the dresses were in back and you nor your guests were able to browse. I trust my friends and family to pick gowns that would look good on me. They know your personality much better than someone who has known you for 5 seconds. The room was cold and there was no privacy, literally you are trying on dresses in front of everyone passing by 6th Avenue. I tried on five dresses and I didn't care for any but they didn't offer to bring any others for me to look at. I was in and out in half an hour - and I'm NOT JOKING. Looking for your wedding dress is suppose to be a fun, relaxed, wonderful experience - and this wasn't.

Would I ever go back to Bea's Bridal Nook? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I always thought of Bea's as a staple in Denver bridal shops, but boy was I wrong. Talk about the worst experience ever. From the moment we walked in the woman was rude and completely unfriendly. I could hardly believe it when she told us she was the owner. I guess she doesn't want women to buy $3000.00 dresses from her shop. Her attitude and demeanor were horrendous. I couldn't believe a grown woman and owner no less would behave this way. I would never recommend even my worst enemy to go here! There are so many bridal shops around town that will treat the bride-to-be as she should be treated. My girlfriend and I kept looking at each other thinking is this really happening right now? It's really odd when your in warm, fuzzy bridal mode to be treated so cold and rude as we were here. I'm sure the real Bea would be very unhappy as to how her old business is being carried out. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place.

I called them twice and left messages, and never got a call back. So I visited another bridal store and spent $4500 on two dresses.

I stopped in at Bea's without an appointment, which I know, is a no-no. They weren't able to help me and didn't have any dresses out to look at. They only bring them out to you. The store was kinda dirty and the person I talked to seemed bored and disinterested. Skip this one on your shopping agenda.

I think everyone should know that if you go to Bea's you do not have the option to browse through gowns on your own (except for the samples that are on sale) because only the salesladies are allowed in the back where the gowns are. Some people might find this more efficient, and if you do then this is probably your place. I personally think that brides should be exposed to gowns so they can narrow down what they want. Not every girl has a vision of her wedding dress from the time she's 6 years old - I know I sure didn't and it took trying on a variety of styles before I was ready to make my decision. Additionally, the saleslady that helped me was very short with me and only let me try on one dress - when I tried it on she said "This is it! You're not going to find anything better than this!" So much for that magical bridal experience that you deserve during this exciting time of your life. Again, I would argue that the bride is the one that calls the shots and make that determination. I am also offended when the first question out of a salesperson's mouth is "What's your budget?" but maybe that's just me. Obviously budget is important but budgets can be negotiated and sometimes you can find something expensive that you love and use it as a way to figure out your style.

Bottom line is if you are in indecisive person that wants someone else to make your decisions for you, go here - otherwise I would try some of the other places in the area that make you feel like a princess and let you state your own opinions about the most important dress you will ever buy. Luckily I had been to a number of other shops and at those places I had the wonderful experience I was hoping for, but in my opinion it's just unacceptable - this is their own specialty; the only thing they have to be good at.

I bought my dress from Bea's back in 2005 & I am still holding enough resentment from my experience that almost 3 years later, here I am telling my story. My overall dress shopping experience at Bea's was acceptable. They weren't overly attentive, despite the cost of most of their dresses, they never made me feel extremely special, but at the same time, I don't think that it was about them. To me, it was about finding the dress & I did. I found a dress that I loved & on my wedding day, someone came out of the bathroom where I had just been asking if someone had dropped some jewelry b/c there were tiny crystals on the floor. I looked down & the crystals on my dress had come undone & fallen off! I had literally had the dress on for less than 5 minutes. As the night went on, more & more crystals came undone. On the right side, the dress became 'untucked' we'll say. In a lot of my pictures, you can clearly see that there is something wrong with the dress. After the wedding & after things settled down, I contacted Bea's about what happened. They told me to contact the designer b/c they were utlimately responsible. So, I contacted the designer, even included pictures of what happened & inevitably, the designer told me that Bea's was responsible. I left multiple messages, sent emails to Bea's & of course, heard nothing back from them. A simple 'I'm sorry' would have sufficed. After dishing out $3000 for a dress, I never thought that I would have to be concerned with quality. I might as well have bought a dress from David's b/c I would expect subpar quality. Bea's ignored me & would not take responsibility for their shotty alteration work & mediocre quality. My suggestion? Care less about the person helping you try on dresses & focus more on quality of the product & standards of alterations. And congratulations to Bea's for failing miserably in each of these categories.

I went to Bea's among several other stores when I was looking for my bridal gown. This was the only store that I would never return to. I found the the sales assistant was rude and cold. After only being there for 20 minutes we felt rushed and when I wanted to try a different style of dress than she was bringing out she was quite snarky. Final word: don't waste your time going to Bea's unless you like poor customer service and a damper on what is supposed to be an exciting time.

I scheduled an appointment mid-day, mid-week was the only client in the shop and had zero issues. The corner location made easy to locate while driving east on 6th. We were greeted warmly by the owner Jeanette, who even though she was on the phone took a few moments to let us know she would be right with us and pointed us to the sale gowns on display. Jeanette was very good about selecting gowns that fit into my vision and budget. She also gave honest feedback and wasn't set on trying to sell me every gown I tried on. My visit to the shop was a last minute decision based on the other feedback on this site and I am very glad that I did as I found my wedding gown here. I adding Bea's to the list of shops you visit while shopping for your wedding gown.

Rude! Rude! Rude! That's the only adjective I have for Bea's Bridal Nook. All of the sales women treated my friend and I like dirt and completely ignored us, even though we had an appointment. We left after less than ten minutes. I would not recommend this bridal shop to anyone. Boo on Bea's!

I didn't end up buying my dress here but I would recommend coming and having a fun experience. They were friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home and made sure that my group felt comfortable. They picked out some very cute dresses for me to try on and made some really great suggestions. You should deffinetly make this a stop on your shopping day.

Pros: friendly, sweet, comfortable

Cons: small shop

pretty unwelcoming. would have liked more attention and service, as this is their specialty. probably won't go back.

This is a quaint little bridal shop that I recommend you check out if you are getting married. It doesn?t have a huge selection of dresses as some of the bigger stores out there, but the dresses that they carry are very beautiful and the styles are very unique. The staff was very friendly and they really seemed to really want the customer to be happy with their dress.

Beas Bridal is the best bridal boutique in Denver. Unlike some of the more expensive boutiques in Denver, Beas is cozy with extremely friendly and helpful employees. Ironically, their selection of dresses are more beautiful than those boutiques.
