.

I had my old metal fillings replaced with a composite material by Dr. Bentz. One week he replaced the fillings in the top left of my mouth. The very next week, he replaced the fillings in the bottom left of my mouth. I ached for months after that. Unknown to me at the time, after replacing fillings there is a period of adjustment where several follow-up visits are required in order to further file down the new fillings as they can create new contact/pressure points against the opposing teeth which leads to discomfort/pain. Dr. Bentz was obviously in a hurry to get my money because these two procedures were scheduled far too close together - there was no time for adjustment after the first procedure. As a result, I needed numerous follow-up visits to adjust the fillings after the second procedure during which Dr. Bentz was clearly getting annoyed by the number of required visits - a problem that he caused by being greedy. At one point during the adjustment visits, the dental assistant pointed out to him that he was grinding away at the wrong filling, but he just continued to do so until I had to stop him. I now have a lower left molar where most of the new filling was improperly removed because of an improper bump on the new filling on my upper left molar which should have been adjusted after the first procedure. Dr. Bentz would have continued drilling away on the wrong tooth until he hit China - this knucklehead doesn't know what he's doing.
