Dave and Busters, some have heard of it, others have not. It sits nestled in bustling Denver, a sanctuary of play and entertainment amonst the chaos of interstate and commuter traffic. It is a combination restaurant and arcade. Their food is fantastic, and reasonably priced (about $7.00 - $8.00 per plate). This is definetly not your average children's arcade, and a visitor will be able to tell as soon as they walk through the doors. There is a enormous bar in the middle of the game room, giving all the fun-loving adults easy access to their favorite beers and mix-drinks.
There is also a wide variety of games to appeal to all age groups. There is ski-ball and other ticket-spitting games, as well as the newest and most hi-tech simulation games ranging from covert ops anti-terrorism games to motor-cycle racing. They even have some full-immersion virtual-reality booths that put you in the cockpit of the famous mech-warrior tanks.
Visitors play using "credit" cards, plastic cards which keep track of how many credits they have spent and how many they have left. This makes it easy and convenient to play all day, as there are no heavy coins to be lugged about. Once all the credits have been spent, gamers can take their hoard of tickets to the gift-shop and cash them in for nifty rewards like blenders, shot glasses and even an electric motorcycle.
All in all, Dave and Busters is a great place for all ages to play, eat, and drink. It will definetly be a memorable time.
