This doctor was great when i was pregnant! I ended up being extremely allergic to some medication my doctors put me on when i went in to preterm labor. He saw me that day even though he worked a couple hours overtime. He was very professional and worked quickly to get me out of the blistery skin.

Established in 1982, Roaring Fork Dermatology is centrally located in the Roaring Fork Valley in Basalt, Colorado. Doctors J Ramsey Mellette, MD and Riley Greene, MD specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail disorders. The clinic offers general dermatology services, care of severe skin diseases, skin cancer screenings and cosmetic rejuvenation procedures. Accepts most major insurance plans.
Dr. J. Ramsey Mellette, MD is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He became associated with Roaring Fork Dermatology in 1984 where he continues to practice and has been a member of the dermatology faculty at the University of Colorado since July of 1990. He is currently Professor of Dermatology University of Colorado School of Medicine and Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He is fellowship director, American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Riley Greene, MD joins Roaring Fork Dermatology as a board certified medical and surgical dermatologist. Dr. Greene interned at Denver’s Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and completed residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He was recently named an Assistant Clinical Professor at C.U.’s medical school, and founded a Littleton based private dermatology practice, Peak Dermatology PLLC in 2011.
Both doctors share time at Roaring Fork Dermatology in Basalt and weekly appointments are available.
