I would absolutely not recommend P C Brokers to anyone, unless I wanted them to get totally ripped off. I took my laptop in a few months ago, after calling them with concern that it was most likely just my power cord and hoping they could give me some feedback. My dad used to take his computer there and said they always do a free check on the computer. I felt this wasn't really necessary, but I took it in and left it with a very confused looking young man. They called me two days later and told me it was the power cord and it would be 70 bucks to replace, and would take a week to come in. They had my computer for 9 days and when i went to pick it up, the power cord was not the oem cord that came with my computer, but was a smaller one, running on different voltage--to which i was told, "uhh, it's all basically the same." The AC end had yellow plastic on it that began to crumble within a week, and within a month, the computer had to stay plugged in all the time to even be useable. It finally crapped out 3 weeks ago, and when I went online to scope prices for replacing, I found the power cord/adapter they had sold me on Amazon for $9.00. Amazon had the original cord to match my laptop for $20!! I find this to be completely shady.

I could have went to Best Buy or Wal Mart or any other number of places, yet I chose to spend my dollars at a local business that totally ripped me off!! They were also very sketchy on the phone, and couldn't even find my computer when I went to pick it up for almost 15 minutes. They had no paper record of me dropping it off to match with the stub they had given me 9 days prior. I did not get the sense that competent tech professionals were employed there, it felt more like I had interrupted a Magic: The Gathering tournament.

Stay away from these clowns.

P C Brokers used to be a great place to go for help, but they have recently gone down hill. The last time I had my computer (which I purchased there) fixed, they left some of the items unplugged. Today I called for help with a virus that my son got on his laptop and they said it would cost nearly $200 to fix it. Then I found out that my father called them last week and they have HIM directions to a free malware download that fixed his problem. I tried the same download that they gave my father and it worked for me. Why couldn't that just tell ME that instead of trying to charge me nearly $200 for their services!?? I'm definately going to start looking elsewhere for my computer needs--they no longer treat their customers very well at all.

When my father-in-law's computer got a seriously horrid virus this computer shop was very helpful and turned around his machine very quickly so he wouldn't be without for too long.

If you are looking for a computer then check out PC Brokers. They are a top quality computer place. The sales staff are very competent and friendly. They can build one for you or repair the one you have. The prices are a little higher than the big box stores but the warranty service more than makes up for that. They will always treat you right.Oliver C

Lots of computors. Not really any new ones to speak of. It was mostly used stuff, but they were priced appropriatly. The guy I talked too was helpful despite the fact that they didn't have what I was looking for. I was actually just trying to get my hands on a used PDA, but all they had were some desktops and parts. They are also located in a relativly commercial area in the center of town so you don't really have to go out of your way to get there.
