Hancock Fabrics

I found the Longmont Hancock Fabric a quality fabric store in which to shop. I find what I need and the staff is friendly and helpful. When I needed advice on a machine I didn't purchase there, they were still just as helpful as if I had purchased it from them.

Unfortunately, Longmont is fabric store challeneged. So, I shop at Hancock Fabrics because I have to. They have enough stuff to make do, but don't expect to find really nice silks or wools. Don't be surprised if the sales girl doesn't know what a zipper foot is. I think half of them have never sewn a stitch in their lives.

PROS: It's in town
CONS: Somewhat limited selection, confused sales girls.
