I have always been satisfied with the notions and the thread choice. During the day, they tend to have only two staff, one of which has to be called to the register if you want to check out. During the holiday season or big sales days, the staff is friendly and polite despite the pushiness or impatience of their customers. Any time I have needed help (notion or fabric), they have been willing to show me what I need rather than simply pointing the way. I appreciate that. Thanks.
They have a pretty great selection but their staff is so rude! I simply asked if they would cut my fabric to the dimensions I need (even though I would be paying by the yard) and the woman said she wouldn't. Isn't that her job!? I usually don't leave reviews but I just couldn't believe that she couldn't be bothered to simply cut my fabric down slightly. I would not recommend this store.
Unfortunately, Longmont is fabric store challeneged. So, I shop at Hancock Fabrics because I have to. They have enough stuff to make do, but don't expect to find really nice silks or wools. Don't be surprised if the sales girl doesn't know what a zipper foot is. I think half of them have never sewn a stitch in their lives.
PROS: It's in town
CONS: Somewhat limited selection, confused sales girls.
