I love this place, the atmosphere is awesome. I enjoyed finding my way to the bathroom because I got to look at all the creative artwork. I even got to do a little drawing of my own on the walls. I am happy to be short because you would have to duck entering the restaurant and in many places if you are tall. The food was great. They have gluten free options which is important to me. It turns into a bar at night for hill goers that are 21.

Can I just say that I love the crust on the pizzas! My honey tells me that I'm like a little girl when I walk into this place, man, I don't mind if you can give me a little honey and some crust, I'm good to go! Great food, great atmosphere, and the pricing isn't bad! A must!

This is an institution in Boulder. It's just a cool, college hangout bar with no pretensions and the food is awesome. I always like to bring any out of town visitors here for good food, good beer and good company.

The Sink has been around for quite some time and it's location on the Hill in Boulder makes it an institution. The food is decent and the drinks a good. I liked my salad the last time that I visited. Go early if you're planning on eating dinner as the students will flood the bar when it's time to go out.

You can't be in boulder and not go to the sink. This is where eating pizza crust with honey became a staple. There's lots of beer on tap, just be aware it does get super crowded after 9PM, it's a total CU hangout.

If you have not been to The Sink for a while, try it again. The food has definitely improved and includes more fresh, house-made items. They are getting product from local ranchers and farmers who practice sustainable agriculture. The end result, more healthy and tasty food on your plate. Look for the "premium colorado burger" and other local ingredients. Plus, they use recyclable/compostable service products and practice recycling and composting to the maximum extent possible.

The food is decent, the atmosphere is interesting. The menu is certainly eclectic, but not always as good as it could be. I ordered a salad with Balsamic vinagrette and the dressing was only oil and balsamic vinager...I couldn't get anything but oil out of the plastic cup. We waited for over an hour for our "sinkburgers", pretty good once we got them, but we had to leave right after we shoved them down our throats. Our waiter was nowhere to be found when we needed our check...I went in search of him and he was sitting around talking to his co-worker buddies, he didn't apologize for our late food or for not checking up on us at all. The restaurant was not even half-full, and the people sitting near us never got their french fries because they "ran out". We have been here twice hoping that the bad service was a fluke, but unfortunately the wait staff seems to be inept...won't be going back here.

Cons: other food isn't great, poor wait staff

Have only visited The Sink for lunch, I am sure the vibe changes at night. The menu is great. Had a personal pizza that was great and more than enough for one. Chicken sandwich is wonderful too. Went next store to check out the merchandise, the owner was in there. She was so friendly and welcoming, we'll will visit for sure on our next trip.

Food -
Has good history, with all the caricatures on the wall of people who have been there (Robert Redford used to be a janitor there). Decent food, pizza is pretty good. Has a very low roof.

Bar -
At night turns into a crowded bar, nicely priced drinks ($3.50 imported beer). Monday night is packed, it is flip night, where you have a 50% chance on the flip of a coin that you could get your drink for 25 cents. Lots of greeks (frat/soroity).

The sink not only serves the best pizza in Boulder but it all started with the Sinkburger. A half pound burger with the famous Sink Hickory sauce has been a tradition at CU for over 50 years. The Sink is my favorite lunch spot. I used to have a hard time going there on nice days because it is a bit dark but they added sidewalk seating this summer. The scenery is the best in Boulder.

Pros: historic, great food, great patio

Cons: bit dark, feels like a bar

It smells like beer, but the sink still has the best burgers and pizza in the state of CO.
