Great Fun  5 Star Rating - World class

My first time here was with my work's annual picnic. We all got Elitch's tickets and were also given an extra pass, by Elitch's themselves...Pretty nice! So, I don't 'do' rides too much but my son and his dad had a BLAST riding all the thrilling coasters and even enjoyed the bungee jump! OMG talk about a heart attack just WAITING to happen! If you can though, take the PEPSI can promo they have every year, because I would not have gone if I had to pay full price. Oh yeah, and make sure you don't get thirsty while you are there...Expensive pop too! But GREAT all around!

PROS: Everything
CONS: Snacks cost LOTS

Fun for all  4 Star Rating - Very good

This is the place to go in the summer. Buy a family season pass if you plan to go more than once. The pass is good for the water park too. The rides are safe and clean. They have rides for everyone and a fun inside play area where kids can shoot soft balls with air guns. They have a fun Halloween event too.

A Fun Day Out - Every Once in A While  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Six Flags Elitch Gardens is one of the smaller amusement parks I've been to. It sits right in the heart of downtown Denver, so space is at a premium. It has quite a few decent rides and a decently sized kids area. One complaint might be that if you suffer from motion sickness there won't be a lot here for you. Not a lot of shows or tame rides like you might find at other larger parks. But it does a good job at providing a fun, festive atmosphere and it's a good time for an occasional treat.

PROS:
CONS: Parking is EXPENSIVE!!!

fun  4 Star Rating - Very good

We love the water park the most! It's so much fun and we all have a great time playing in the water. Lots to do and something for all ages. Very clean.

We had fun  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Elitch gardens is an old, downtown amusement park that was taken over by Six Flags some years ago. It is somewhat smaller than many other Six Flags Parks, but costs just as much to get in (ouch!). My kids had a blast though, and the roller coaster was a lot of fun. For a summer's day fun, though, it is a nice diversion.

My local amusement park  4 Star Rating - Very good

I wish that they had more roller coasters... but other wise, this is a VERY great park. They have Tower of Doom, where you are lifted up to the top of the tower, and then you are let go and you go at maybe 60 mph down the tower. I really llike that one. They also have a water park free to paying visitors. If your friend has a coupn book after purchasing a six flags season pass, you can get bargains! 4-star

Summer Fun!  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This is a good family amusement park. It is somewhat small compared to most Six Flags theme parks, and could use more rides. The shows are good, but aren't playing often enough. There is a water park attached to the gardens which is also fairly good, but could be larger. Overall, though, a good day out!

Expensive and all flash  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I'm not a big fan of amusement parks to begin with. I don't like roller coasters so places like this aren't worth the money to get in. This one is pretty expensive and there's not much available unless you're a thrill seeker. If you're into the coasters you might have fun on a couple. My brother likes them and even said this place wasn't all that great as far as rides go. It looks like fun from the outside, but once you're in you soon realize that most of your entry fee will go towards standing in line forever for the good rides and not liking most of the rest.

If you need to burn some cash....  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

you can probably get rid of it all here. It is a lot of fun, I'll say that. The kids area is a day-trip all on it's own. However, every time we're there there's several rides down, and as far as staff -- they're downright snotty.

Small theme park for fun  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I have been here several times, but in each time it seems to get just a little less exciting. I love their rollercoasters, but they need to build more of them. If you wonder into the small water park, you will find a few rides, and a wave pool with many children. All in all, I wouldn't come here more than once a year.

PROS: full of fun
CONS: too expensive

Fun For All Ages  4 Star Rating - Very good

I've been to 6 Flags parks throughout the US, and this is comparable. It's not cheap, but when are amusement parks bargain-priced? You've got an arcade and kiddie rides for the youngest visitors, and good roller coasters & even a bungee drop for those who seek more serious thrills.

The water park is an added bonus; it's great fun on a hot summer day in Denver.

Go to the waterpark  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

My kids really liked the waterpark and it was great fun. The kiddie area is great and so is the wave pool. Bring your lunch and eat it out at one of the picnic benchs in the parking lot if you want to save some cash.

PROS: water park
CONS: food is pricey

6 Flags Elitch Gardens  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This a newly build amusement park near downtown. A fun place to be but very expensive. They have all the rides (roller coasters, spinning things and ferris wheel) along with an arcade, a water park and an ampatheater. If you can pickup some entrance coupons, bring water and eat outside the park it would be a better deal.

PROS: Water Park
CONS: Very expensive

Decent, but not outstanding, amusement park  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Like most amusement parks, this is incredibly expensive, up to $38 for an adult admission. If you go, be sure to go during the summer when the water park is open. During the late-season when the water portion is closed, the remaining area is small and doesn't offer many rides. This park is not worthy of the 6 Flags name, in my opinion.
