.

I have been a customer at the 7-eleven stores for a very long time. I even was at one time , an Ass. Manager/acting Manger too. I have been a frequent visitor to a few Denver locations and am always treated so very well. Courteous, friendly and all around treated good.Until, I visit this store in the afternoons. There is a black male, maybe late 30ish, who seems to always find a way to be extremely rude to me. I usually avoid him but at times he is the one at the register. He does not like to do much as in being helpful. I was in the store this afternoon 01/24/2006 around 2:30pm, and I waited on the pepsi icee to defrost, only it never did. He refused to check it and I had already paid him. He lied to me and said that it had been out all day. I know this how? Because, I was just there at 10:00am for the same thing. So, I asked for my money back and he refused, and stated that he counted already and he could not do it. I said , "I just gave the money to you, not more than 10mn. ago".I told him I did not get my product, so I want a refund. I could have gotten a credit for my next drink, but he would not co-operate. I told him I did not make a habit of going into stores to give them money for nothing and I was sure he would not either, and I was not leaving without my money. I asked another clerk for the District managers number and the "rudest clerk", finally decided to give me the money back.He really tried my patience and I have overlooked the other times he acts like he owns the place and can do whatever he likes, but he has not been there as long as I have been going in there. I have never had that treatment from any 7-eleven sales associate" EVER". He is surely in the wrong business and I wonder how many customers you have lost because of this one bad attitude. He definitely does not reflect well for this stores image. I am hoping this is straightened out so that I can keep stopping by without dealing with people like him. Thank you.
